I’m a dental assistant and usually staff get things that can be done in house for free, but have to pay for lab work or specialists. Specialists may have a “professional discount.” Dentists kind of do the same thing, so they either go to a dentist within their practice or go to a friend of theirs and would likely get a good discount.

Thanks Ethan, you cured my choir kid national anthem PTSD (a small group of us performed it in front of every major event/assembly for our school) Funny story, we had people complain that we made it "too fancy" by harmonizing in four parts, which is what all choir kids do in every song they perform because that's how songs are written. We did not add any flourishes and the sopranos never attempted a Mariah Carey.

As someone who grew up with cats, I am so happy cats are now a welcomed topic. No more animosity between cat people and dog people. Pets are part of the family and we love and adore them. Its nice seeing Sean really embrace being a cats dad and its very nice that Ethan checks in on BB.

BLEH!" 48:54-49:10 If you guys go to a NASCAR I highly recommend you guys go to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Both Xfinity and Cup races are held there, plus the PB/J Milkshake is absolutely delicious 😋 so delicious that i had 3-4 of them. Last time i went to that track was back in July of 2017 when Kyle Busch won the Xfinity, and Denny Hamlin won the Cup. Plus the only tracks that go left are Watkins Glen, Sonoma, COTA, and road course speedways. Only 100 days till the Daytona 500! The perfect name for a race..Brain Leak 500! Have a Mi Amigo that races in the Cup Series level

26:00 for those who are curious, i actually looked into this on halloween last week bc i forgot it's details and wanted to re-learn the origin (: but yes trick-or-treating and dressing up did originate from Ireland/the Celts- it's a ancient Celtic festival of Samhain: signifying the cycle of life, death and rebirth. as a dentists' kid, 100% they all have free dental on breaks & stuff, & generally the community all works together for specialists so like i always got free cleanings at my dads place & low cost if not free ortho from the doc he referred out to, he would in turn help other doc's families if they came to him.

Seán's Seánisms are just him saying "YEAH, BABY" whenever he accomplishes something in a game, "Don't mind if I yes", "Look at those reflections" and basically just parroting everything he hears in media video-wise. Also, for the record, as someone who worked fast food and went to high school with an entire graduating class of part-time fast food workers, those employee meals are *NOT* free in the U.S., it does come out of your paycheck for some places, and/or you have to buy things like a customer would. Others are only free so long as you get medium sized things or smaller, though that's mostly for the larger international chains. Blah, blah, something about the U.S. economoy being a joke and capitalism, you already get the drift.

The salt in the dishwasher is to counteract the calcium, making the water softer. Hard water has high calcium while soft water has low calcium. Calcium can cause build-ups when the water dries and can clog up the dishwasher, and leaves blemishes on the dishes which can make glass look hazy. Its manly only a problem when you have a well, compared to communal water.

Chemistry & Material Science Student here: Salt is actually just an ionic assembly of compounds (commonly a metal & an halogen e.g. Sodium and Chlorine --> Sodium Chloride or common-/tablesalt). Something like Potassium Bromide (KBr) is another example of a salt (though you really shouldn't eat that) :D Dishwasher Salt is just NaCl though but I'm too nerdy to let a "salt is just salt" slip without being the "uhm aktchually" guy xD

I think the salt thing is a UK vs USA thing. I have never heard of salt in the dishwasher before and I have never seen it sold in the kitchen cleaner aisle in the store either. We do have a thing we can unscrew, inside the door of the dishwasher, that we can fill with rinse aids such as Jet Dry. But, never heard of using salt. I will have to do my research.

I worked at a pizza shop and my trainer tore a hole in the pizza dough... then sent me to the cooler for a dough repair kit. I searched so hard, disappointed cause i couldnt find it. i wasnt a dentist but i was a insurance guy for a little while, and no, i was not given life insurance. i could get a discount, but because the company i worked for, one of the big ones, hired us as a mix between employee and contractor so the people who worked for said company did not get automatic life insurance
