Monaco being "Within France" implies that it's within France's borders. "Within" is used to define boundaries and describe that something is inside something. You would really only say that x is within y when y completely surrounds x. Monaco is thus not within France due to it's coastline, and Aiden takes home the W here.

id use Portugal and Spain as an example. its a large country then a smaller country that boarders only that country and the water. if france even crescent moon curved around it deep enough its arguable but its not the case.

"It is bordered by France to the north, east and west." -Wikipedia Also according to Wikipedia the entire circumference border of Monaco is defended by French military. Thus, the French politically owns the entire border all around including the sea area through military force. So...Monaco is in fact INSIDE France.

It has no actual official borders and Monaco's coastline still belongs to Monaco despite it being considered to be a part of the French Riviera. Also the fact that it's bordered by france to the north east and west completely contradicts that Monaco could be inside France.

London is not named after a Ludwig, the supposed king Lud mentioned by Geoffrey of Monmouth did not really exist, and the real etymology is unknown. Especially since Ludwig is a germanic name and the romans probably derived the name from a previous brittonic term, preceding anglo-saxon settlement in Britain.
