Warriors (Warrior Cats) is a series of novels based on the adventures and drama of multiple Clans of feral cats created by Victoria "Vicky" Holmes. My friend and I were imagining an alternate universe where TNR was happening in the Clans, and it was very fun. Imagine Tigerstar disappearing, and then suddenly reappearing with a tipped left ear and no balls. 😆 No more Tigerstar clones!

I honestly like Nightheart a lot. He's funny to me, and just unapologetically edgy. He's also just... something we haven't gotten before in any Warrior cats character, which is super rare.

I honestly think Fireheart and Sandstorm are one of the few good romances in the series even though they fall into that initial "you saved me" pattern. Partly because I don't think the encounter made Sandstorm see him romantically, it just made her respect him as a classmate

Yeah it wasn't what made her like like Fireheart/star, it just began the path of her actually respecting him, and was just a close friend, maybe crushing later. The romance didn't come until Rising Storm, 2-3 years into the first arc's timeline chronologically.

Taking the blurb of Shadow into account and Tigerstar being suspicious of RiverClan - I have a feeling that RiverClan is going to avoid the greencough pandemic (probably because they're isolating themselves) and Rowankit is going to die from it. And Tigerstar is super overprotective of his children, so I can see him targeting RiverClan because of their self-imposed isolation and how, in his eyes, them not suffering from greencough somehow makes Rowankit's death their fault *Edit with spoilers from Sky* Fucking. Called it.

I could see TigerStar doing this, he was super overprotective of ShadowSight in TBC, so if one of his kits dies he'll go ape shit I feel. Then maybe cats start talking if he should be demoted?

@@falcon_arkaig She was part of the Kin and was made deputy to show Tigerstar supported the former Kin returning to ShadowClan a la Harespring. She's been supportive of Tigerstar for the little she's been shown, but I can totally see her being manipulated into being against him. Her joining the Kin set that precedence. But I can see her revealing that she holds the same prejudices that Berryheart does and if Tigerstar goes off the rails, then she could be convinced to agree to his impeachment. I specifically mentioned her because one of the established rules was that the deputy has to agree to the impeachment and becomes leader instead, so her disillusionment with Tigerstar would need to start having seeds planted if that's the route they're taking.

I like how you mentioned that it seems like the book is against Nightheart. In the last book it seems like he just despises his entire family. Nightheart has a reason to dislike Squirlflight and Sparkpelt. However he acts like everyone hates him but characters like Alderheart has never done a thing to him. I think Nightheart also mentioned in the last book that he can't talk to Alderheart because he did not know what is like to be a dad. That's sort of a petty reason to not want to speak with a family member. I understand that Nightheart is miserable that he is compared to Firestar and his father is dead but he is just so rude to everyone. Alderheart might not be a real dad but he did help raise Twigbranch and Voletshine. I also agree that Sunbeam is the best character of the three main characters. This collab was also amazing.

Nightheart doesn’t realize that adoptive figures and uncles can be better father figures than the father in some cases 💀 In the maternal case, Squirrelflight isn’t even the Three’s biological mom and had to raise them, and somehow couldn’t use his grandmother’s case as an example.

@@mysryuza I'm interested on how his and Sparkpelts relationship can be fixed. It seems like all three protagonists are having mom issues. Frostpaw lost her mother, Sumbeams mother is acting a bit antagonistic and Nightheart does not have a good relationship with his mother. I would also hope Finchlight gets some development because I think she has potential. Hopefully she dosen't turn out like Needleclaw and start hating on code breakers for no reason.

I think it would be really cool if each book the leader of the respective Clan the book is named after dies to the conspiracy, because it would provide a pretty intense paradigm shift and also allow for some new characters to be leader

1:13:25 i cant lie, after the Sunbeam gets rejected plot + all the vibes that Nightheart is probably going to leave his clan by the end of the series, i also had a horrible feeling in my gut that theyre definitely going to put her and Nightheart together too and I really REALLY hope hey dont because then its literally just BristleRoot concept all over again girl gets rejected by who she thought she was going to end up with, gets depressed for a while, adventure, falls in love with other male protag that was an unlikely mate at first I just, dont even think Nightheart even needs a mate? I think he just needs to be in a clan that respects him for him and thats all he would want to be happy. I would like to see Sunbeam happy with someone because she just deserves love like that in general imo, but just not with Nightheart. Not in a million years.

A huge part of the unconscious bias in Warriors is that whoever's putting all these relationships into the books seems to think that people can't be happy without falling in love unless they're strictly forbidden from doing so. It really is a shame, but I don't see them learning from that any time soon: it's why I honestly expect the worst whenever it comes to stuff like this.

Nightheart getting a mate is REALLY problematic, tbh. He's already struggling with getting acceptance in his own Clan. Seeking out acceptance/validation in a relationship isn't healthy. There's also the question of whether or not Sunbeam would challenge Nightheart's views about his family/Clan. Would the relationship be based on pity? Would Nightheart's struggles be the foreground of the relationship, while Sunbeam's issues get cast aside? I do feel like Sun and Night are being pushed together though. Gullswoop mentioned explicitly that Sunbeam would get a SHADOWCLAN mate (an emphasis can mean that a character will go against the norm/advice given.) There's also just their names in general. Sun and Night. Opposites, but they cannot go on without the other. (If it was Sun and Moon or Day and Night, I would be completely sure of the romantic direction--) I really don't want this relationship to happen, but I think it will... :(

I was talkin about this in Moon's server earlier and we came to the conclusion together that IF they do get together, it would be really interesting to see it played out more like- An impulsive infatuation, like one of those crushes that last 1 week if you don't act on it and aren't crushes that really formed from genuine bonds. Nightheart would probably like her because she was nice to him while everyone else wasn't. Sunbeam liked him back because she's trying to cope with rejection still or something. Then Sunbeam would leave eventually once she realizes neither of them reallyyyy like each other like that, and even if he knows shes right, Nightheart would continue being edgy and blame-y and overexaggerating how much she must "hate" him to leave (think ashfur but if he just stayed silently brooding and didnt become full on villain, and like if he and squilf legitimately dated for a while and werent just courting). And then they can use that to actually grow Nightheart by having his toxic behaviors being called out. That's what we came up with- thats p much it summed up, I doubt it's heading there, but yknow. basically if it happens, it really could be interesting but ONLY as a temporary thing.

I would LOVE if they dont end up mates, but become best friends. There are too few friendships in Warriors! He could still switch Clans, just dont have them end up romantically (as if that would ever happen...)

@@lagggoat7170 As much as I'd love that to happen, the odds are against us. I don't believe that two protagonists in an arc, who weren't family members, were ever considered to be 'friends.' (I wish that Shadowsight and Rootspring could be that exception, but considering their minimal interactions, there's no 'friendship arc' between them.) I'm already bracing myself for the worst... :(

One thing I think RiverClan should do, is use the greencough outbreak as a way to explain away Mistystar and Reedwhisker's death. Boom you don't look super weak in front of the clans cause everyone is suffering, and now you get to ask for help from other medicine cats. Win win.

What I feel about the Greencough thing depends. If only 1 or 2 cats die it will feel like filler, but if a lot of cats die it will be great. I feel that cats will die as the Erins have developed a habit of killing cats in the second book.

One of my big predictions is that Bramblestar is going to step down, because we don’t like him but also since his mental health seems to be declining. I then think he’ll pull a Rowanclaw and return his nine lives. Squirrelflight will then die and so ThunderClan will be the second Clan without a leader and also they might be in a green cough epidemic Also did anyone else think that Frostpaw’s star-shaped leaf could point to Leafstar dying??

I have a prediction too, The first book was “river”(river clan) The second”sky”(sky clan) The third “shadow”(shadow clan) I think the last 3 ones will be “thunder”, “wind”, and “star”

This is an idea from a blogclan user, but I really like it: What if Nightheart falls in love with Sunbeam and assumes she feels the same way, and wants to move to Shadowclan, but when it’s announced at the Gathering Sunbeam rejects him in front of everyone

It makes me so happy to see more Sunbeam support as she’s my favourite of the protagonist. I thought Gullswoop mentioning Blazefire and her thoughts on him not being a “real” ShadowClan cat could be hinting that Berryheart is already starting to influence the clan, but I may be reaching a bit. I like that Sunbeam and Blazefire might still be friends, and I hope they will be. I also hope they talk about what wasn’t working in their relationship because Blazefire would sometimes just brush her off. I like the idea of Lightleap and her as a character but I also hate her because of how she treats Sunbeam. Kinda unfair of me but oh well It’s kinda weird that Sunbeam and Nightheart both have a mom who doesn’t like SkyClan(unless Sparkpelt’s opinion changed and I forgot) Also I need Fringewhisker and Sunbeam interactions it be so fun and cute

I would love Starclan (or whoever is communicating with Frostfur) to suggest a cat outside of Riverclan to lead it. I feel like that would cause absolute chaos! Bonus points if they pick Nightheart because he's firekin and then he just absolutely messes it up.

Id love for Nightheart to be just as great as Firestar is - but accidentally and in a COMPLETELY different way. Have him be a leader young, then mess it up because he is too full of himself and to inexperienced - THEN have him learn from that, establishing instead a sort of council rule with experienced cats and abdicating or becoming just another member of that council.

I'm in the SunLightBlaze OT3 camp. Jayfeather said that something stripped the area clean of catmint, so I think whatever did that knew what it was doing and was intentionally trying to weaken the Clans. And Frostpaw noted that Reedwhisker's wounds looked like they were made by a badger, so I think there's a very clear explanation: EVIL MIDNIGHT.

My Reedwhisker prediction was: Bear. The fandom's been having bear antagonists for years, it's not a stretch that the Erins would follow suit. That said, dogs sounds even more plausible. I think it's definitely going to be a non-cat 'creature'/'monster' type plot.

I honestly think that Lightleap murdered Reedwhisker like Sunnyfall pointed out and here’s why: Lightleap was upset bc she couldn’t go with the patrol into the Dark Forest so maybe she decided to prove herself by killing Reedwhisker, causing drama with riverclan, swooping in and saving the day when the problems spread to the next clans so she could prove herself. That or Reedwhiskers patrol murdered him bc you don’t just fall into an icy gorge and die like someone probably pushed him down there perhaps to either cause problems or to have a chance at being deputy/leader which is a repeated plot point. But idk. I also think someone purposefully led the dogs to Curlfeather and Frostpaw bc that’s a bit too much of a coincidence that Mistystar, Reedwhisker and Curlfeather died. I think someone killed all three of them by poisoning Mistystar, killing Reedwhisker, and leading the dogs to Curlfeather.

I really, really hope they’re going to kill off so many background characters in this arc. Please. There’s too many. I think having a leaf-bare of panic and misery and death could make for so, so many interesting character moments for the still-living cats, and give them some ounce of individuality. I want a Black Death-esq plague to be the binding story that the 3 protagonists stories weave into in a useful way.

After reading it- I think Sunbeam might reject Nightheart, as in it, she mentions, "And if he joins, I'll finally have a FRIEND in shadowclan." Z I like that Sunbeam stood up to her mother I think Duskfur was probably responsible for Reedfeathers death, or Berryheart, or even berryhearts group conspiring with the kinda group in Riverclan.

What would be great is if Sunbeam ended up as a mother figure to Nightheart; helping him realize that he is exaggerating the mean personalities of everyone around him since she has such a better grip on reality and morals...like after she figures out her own problems she can be there for nightheart, just not romantically because of obvious reasons everyone has already mentioned...however I wouldn’t want her to turn into a character just for nightheart bc she’s strong on her own and nighthearts main character vibes r just uh well they exist yk Meanwhile shadowclan is turning out to be a great cast of characters...I just hope they do smth with it. I also don’t want blazefire to be forgotten like stemleaf. I’m also actually kinda excited to see who is behind the killing river clan plot and I’m excited for berryheart as an evil mom figure bc there r just too many evil dads or grandfathers. tbf to firestar he was adopted away from his mother and siblings and as far as we know doesn't know jake, he only met princess on accident later, so it's not like he left people who were actively in his life. most of what the books call attention to him leaving was his owners and even show they got a new cat (bc yeah cat owners would be really sad if their cat disappeared!)

My theory for ASC is simple: I believe Sleekwhisker is back with a reformed Kin. In addition to this I also agree with the theory that some Clan cats are conspiring against the Code changes and that these cats will cause a lot of problems (though I don't think the conspirators are necessarily "evil" just that Sleekwhisker's group has manipulated them into thinking they must fight to preserve the Code). And I believe that these conspirators murdered Reedwhisker by luring him into a trap (I think Frostpaw was right about the cause of death being a badger. But I also think it was a trap), and from the Sky exerpt I also suspect that these cats destroyed the catmint supplies (it just feels too much of a coincidence that both ThunderClan and ShadowClan have lost their supply to just be bad luck).

Somethingni noticed that i would like to point out, Nightheart seems to know a lot about clan past. More than any cat ever has. He is always mentioning something from the begining of the arc or some small detail we probably dont even remember. No other character has ever relayed past events as much as he does

It’s Splashtail tho... he was on the patrol when Reedwhisker died, he’s Frostpaw’s friend, she trusts him, he went with her to the moonpool and was a alone on “guard” for hours, totally could fake a sign and set a dog trap. It’s him for sure 🤷♀️

@@lilybethwalters4433 "Trust no cat" is starting to make sense. Frostpaw feels that she can trust Splashtail, or maybe she will even more later in the book. I don't know if it will go as far as to make him evil, but I feel like he is going to betray or break the trust Frostpaw has in him in some way. He's probably apart of whatever conspiracy is going on with Berryheart and everyone else. Or maybe he is completely evil and did set all those traps. Unrelated but I bet Blazefire and Lightleap know something Sunbeam doesn't and that's why they have started spending so much time together (and why Blazefire isn't upset with Lightleap for his paws injury)

I think the cover IS just the apprentices quest recolored. Yeesh 😬 I wouldn’t be surprised considering the artist constantly recolors the same cats over and over. Also, my predictions: Nightheart eventually goes back to being Flameheart through dumb, contrived reasons because the authors really would do that. They’re not gonna do anything to change the status quo all that seriously, because then how could they milk the already dry Forbidden Romances/Starclan is Perfect Shut Up About It cow 🙄

So I don't necessarily like night sun but I think thematically it could work. So nightheart and sunbeam reflect each other in what I can tell as their character arcs. Nightheart is desperate to define himself while being arrogant in assuming he knows everything about everyone around them vs sunbeam thinks about her identity as fitting it into the definition of her situation and peers. I also think flameheart's rebellious nature may encourage sunbeam to rebel against her mother. Also I hate the whole firestar legacy plot. I think so many problems would be fixed if you replaced firestar with larksong. Imagine flamepaw doesn't care or maybe resents his father for not being around no matter how harsh it is. Maybe instead of flame his prefix was thrush or something idk. And his sufix was song. Him wanting to change it leads to spark getting defensive because that was her mate who she clearly cared for deeply and now one of the only things she had left of him was rejecting him. Maybe in comparison finchlight idealizes him. Makes his small tasks a bigger deal than they actually were which leads to conflict. But you could explore this dynamic of a single parent trying to balance personal grief and raising kits and how hard that is. Like mothflight done better. Also this would be a perfect Segway where nightheart tries to compare his situation to frostpaw's as if his parents were also dead or abusive to the point where it was worse and him being called out on it. You know letting the main character make bad choices? Side bar on that whole night sun thing I actually had a close friend who nightheart and these chapters reminded me a lot of. The self pitying and self-centered ness at least. And I find myself relating a lot to sunbeam as someone who tries to define situations and action plans constantly and the working to escape dealing with your problems is 100 percent something I'm guilty of which has changed how optimistic I was towards this ship initially and obviously it's for all the wrong reasons I just can't help but projecting when on my own reading these books and I want sunbeam not to fall into that mess.

@@PixylMawthz Well, unfortunately with that article about Nightheart existing it's hard to say what they'll really do, but I think Nightheart actually turning out to be a lot like Firestar (in his own way) is going to be one of the central themes of his character arc. Which doesn't really make me understand *why* they would do a story like this if they're only going to validate all of these assumptions about him from the other characters that Nightheart hates so much. It just doesn't make much sense lol

i think there was a singular mention of rootspring reciting the warrior code for his training some time in early tbc? also i have a comprehensive list of suspects and potential motives for reedwhiskers death in riverclan from combing and over analyzing river that im just going to copy paste a. the patrol reedwhisker went missing on consisted of curlfeather, podlight (curlfeather's brother), splashtail (fognose's brother), and fognose (splashtail's sister) b. there was a loud yowl around the time reedwhisker disappeared, loud enough that it could be heard from shadowclan, but none of the patrol, who were nearby, investigated it. they instead chose to just go home without reedwhisker c. curlfeather and splashtail are both part of the patrol to find reedwhisker, curlfeather brings them to the last place they saw him (again, which would definitely have been close enough to hear him yell from if it could be heard from shadowclan), and when frostpaw tries to bring the patrol towards where reedwhiskers body is splashtail calls her stupid and tries to discourage her from going this way. we later learn that splashtail and frostpaw were close friends, so this seems odd unless hes trying to keep her from finding the body d. curlfeather is the first to point out the scratches on reedwhiskers body, commenting immediately that they must have been caused by the rocks when he fell. when frostpaw comments they look like badger clawmarks curlfeather is described as snapping at her which, again, is very out of character from such a supportive mother e. after frostpaw finds a leaf that has been carved like a star in her bedding, podlight (curlfeather's brother, also suggested he could be temporary leader when reedwhisker first disappeared) suggests that they let starclan decide through frostpaw who should be leader f. duskfur (curlfeather's mother) and curlfeather decide that frostpaw and splashtail should go to the moonpool to decide the new leader. when frostpaw is down by the moonpool, she hears a rustle behind her and decides it must have been the wind, then when going back up finds the curled feather sign

I cannot express how much I HATE how they ENDED the 1st book with saying they were gonna get the other Clans involved in helping wi/ the RoverClan problem. Then they IMMEDIATELY go “oop, changed my mind hehe!” The next book. Like… WHY END IT LIKE THAT IF UR NOT GONNA FOLLOW THROUGH! What’s the POINT of including a hook for the next book if your not actually gonna do it. It just seems so backsides and pointless. Like “it’s time we get the other clans involved…. Oh, haha, yeah 8 changed my mind.”

My theory is that the books are named after and centered around which clan is going to be the one to drift away from the others. I think each clan is going to drift apart from the others, and in the last one there's going to be some kind of big event that they join back together for.

@@Corpse701 No. I haven’t forgotten-I just don’t think they’re going to make ANOTHER whole new clan out of that group. The forest territory is too far away and it’s pretty clear Warriorclan is just kittypets pretending to be Warriors. They’re still kittypets, they love their housefolk and don’t truly understand what it would be like to live in the Clans. I could see a kittypet maybe growing up with that group and deciding they wanted to be a real Warrior, and traveling to find the Clans-but I don’t see the entire group becoming an actual clan. Not to mention they already did the ‘new clan forms and eventually joins the others’ with Skyclan. Honestly there are too many clans as is. How long had the fandom complained about never seeing modern Riverclan before this arc released? There are already too many clans for the authors to focus on and give enough attention to.

On the topic of SunNight being a “pOtEnTiAl cOuPlE” (PLEASE, JUST DON’T), something they *could* do but probably won’t, but would be pleasantly surprised if they did, is have two POV characters of the OPPOSITE SEX be, and I know this is hard to imagine, be JUST platonic friends together; and if they DESPERATELY need there to be romance for whatever reason, then they could explore them TRYING to be in a relationship, it doesn’t work out, and they’re STILL friends with each other by the end of the arc, given they love forcing unnecessary romance into each of their plots’ arcs. So much romance has always been shoehorned in ever since the 1st series, forbidden or not forbidden, and I’m almost certain that fans, young or old, enjoy it like how people enjoy trash reality TV: they’re watching a dumpster fire of a relationship unfold and either love it or hate it depending on how it’s written and presented. And idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but I honestly related to Nightheart a lot, not completely, but a lot when it comes to how my family’s treated me over the years. I don’t want him to be completely become the arc’s and Clan’s punching bag, but if they were to continue it, I’d honestly like to see what would happen if he either became a new (and our first other than the Clear Sky trainwreck) POV villain of the arc, or directly involved with and affecting the villains’ plot is some sort of way. It would be interesting and NEW to have a POV character become a villain, which I know is somewhat similarish to Shadowsight’s plot, but since Nightheart’s so much more edgy and a loner it’d just be interesting to see THAT kind of story unfold around him, rather than the “maybe the Firestar was inside you all along” plot they’ll probably try and go with… >:P Then again I wouldn’t trust the writers whatsoever with how they’ve been handling writing new characters and stories over the arcs, so a lot of these theories and hopes I have will probably never get answered (main reason why I’m writing my own fanfic; I can implement interesting things into my own story MY way >:3) Idk if ya'll are going to continue with these podcats podcast prediction eps, but if you did, I'd watch the crap outta them, I love listening in on discussions and theorizing about current Warriors content~ 😸

I like Nightheart. He seems like more angry Rootspring. Is him thinking everyone hates him is justified? No of course not. But a lot of people who have depression/anxiety think like that. tbh i thought Splashtail was being presented to us as a somewhat reoccurring cat because he's going to be chosen as the future leader. mainly because SOMEONE has to and there seems to be no other candidates. they made a comment about how the senior warriors don't want to take charge anymore, so it wouldnt be strange for it to go the route of "the young cats are the way of the future because they're more open to things changing, unlike the stubborn olds who recently gave mistystar a heart attack" or w/e. thats what i figured the point of "heres a generically nice guy" was 😂 i cant see him being suspiciously evil, so idk what other purpose he'd have....unless they just want to give frostpaw a generic forbidden love interest too and...god willing thats not it

One thing I theorized (that has since been disproven by the preview thing of Shadow) was that if the theory that Frostpaw only gets signs of people before they die is what the authors were going with, the star-shaped leaf Frostpaw found may insinuate that Leafstar was going to die. Unfortunately that theory didn’t go anywhere that I can tell but it’s still an interesting thing to think about. Definitely made for a fun late-night Instagram story topic though-

Glad to see new content and that you seem to be feeling better! It's been cool seeing your collaborations with other Warriors KZfaq community members, I think it's a great idea. Some I tend to see more eye to eye with than others about the series and it makes for a really interesting discussion, getting various points of view on the same thing at once. I know very little about the new arc yet (beyond Nightheart 100% not at all being anything like Firestar one bit, haha) so I admit I was a little lost, but lines like "Ashfur drilled a hole in StarClan and now it's cold" easily kept me going 😂 Looking forward to more as always! (Real quick, since it'll take me throughout the day to finish an 80 minute video probably 😅 @11:42 - Graystripe ending up with Silverstream in StarClan? Since I'm so behind, did that just completely fly over my head or was that a joke? Because damn, that'd be a raw deal for Millie... she uprooted her entire life for him and was his mate for most of his life. That would be like choosing your college girlfriend for eternity over your wife of 30 years 😶)

The thing with Graystripe is more-so implied than it is explicit canon, but at the end of TBC Graystripe meets them both in StarClan and I think there was a line about him padding off w/ Silverstream or something. I'm not entirely sure though because it's been so long since I last read that book, but yeah lol Thank you so much!! I'm glad to finally be back ❤️

I genuinely enjoyed River (the first warrior cats book I’ve enjoyed since Shattered Sky) and I hope that the quality doesn’t drop off from here. What I really want is Nightheart to have a story that doesn’t involve romance (especially with Sunbeam)

Evil Whistlepaw Hope Theory Whistlepaw has shown no signs of being evil yet, this is why it is a hope theory. My hopes for her is that she becomes friends with Frostpaw because of how vulnerable and young she is. Whistlepaw wants to manipulate Frostpaw to gain control over RiverClan by making Frostpaw her puppet. I’m 99% sure this won’t happen but I would be happy if Whistlepaw did anything interesting this arc. I mean she is one of the few cats to change from warrior app to medic app

Can Mothwing be involved in the River Clan concpiracy? Frostpaw two or three times wondered should she distrust Mothwing or not remembering her mothers last words. It might be relevant to the plot

I really wish nightxsun would go like this: Nightheart falls in love Sunbeam says no Nightheart realizes that he just wanted someone who cared about his emotions Sunbeam and nightheart are best friends Nightheart and sunbeam work out their respective subplots (sunbeam with her mother and the whole code changes argument. Nightheart with his “firestar legacy” stuff) This could include frost paw a little more, but that’s just an idea of mine. It’s not fleshed out and I have no idea how this could relate to the main plot.

My prediction is this: Nightheart is gunna end up joining Shadowclan to go be with Sunbeam as another way to make differences between him and firestar, however in doing so basically mirrors Firestar joining the clans in a way... Idk that just my prediction based off of the one scene in the last book and listening to this. Which if this happens...imma be a bit annoyed honestly xD

i havent watched the full video yet nor read either of the books, but after hearing that Mistystar and Reedwhisker were killed off and there's suspicious circumstances around everything, my mind went to Mapleshade since that's the last of Appledusk's known kin in Riverclan and the Erin's love milking her character to death. I'm really *really* freaking hoping that this is just a coincidence because I am sick and tired of them bringing her back to be the mastermind behind so many plot points. And this is coming from someone who's favorite book is Crookedstar's Promise.
