It’s a bus bar you will probably have to get it from the company that makes the panel. To help get a better electrical connection I would recommend putting some dielectric grease on the bus bar stakes.

Man, it was soo good to see Jupiter again! It sounds like your planning on spending about a year and a half in the South Pacific when you said that your going to have Tim's boys do the repaint in two years. I guess that means that you will be sailing again by September. I hope that you end up going to every island nation along the way to the Philippians when you cross the Pacific Ocean. I've got to get a Mumby Cyber 48. I think about it every day!

I don't know why aluminum boats have thru hull fittings. My friend has an older aluminum monohull and a few years ago we removed all the plastic thru hull fitting and I machined up custom aluminum bungs and welded them into the hull of the boat. All of the bungs are actally reccesed and I designed the bungs so a threaded plug can be installed from the outside sealing the bungs off for changing valves. Since the bungs are recessed there is nothing sticking out past the surface of the hull to get caught on and no drag. since they are welded into the hull the only place you could have a leak is at the threads between the bung and the ball valve.

@@andrewfournier8817 Water Thru hall fittings mainly but there is no reason why someone couldn't make a weld in bung for the sonar.

@@erzrs The mumby uses the same plastic thru hull fittings used on all the other boats. The mumby design has become rather outdated compared to all the new aluminum sailing catamarans. With modern designs the hulls are tapered so they get wider above the water line which provides much more space inside without sacrificing performance.

Maybe the back flow preventer is hung up and cold water is making it's way into that hot water? Oh yeah when the system is managed/all electric the switches and selinoids would be the culprit.. Soon all new homes will be regulated this way. ? Maybe like living on a high tech boat.

Great, prefer seeing you cruising. I saw an offer for Mumby cats build in Cambodia showing pics of Jupiter. Are they not built in the Philippines any more?

I don't know if all dental schools do it, but I used to get cleanings done at the University of Hawaii Dental Hygienist School for like $20.

I've had a circuit breaker derate that it kept tripping below the rated amperage in an RV. Sometimes just R&R parts is the best option. The part you didn't know the name of is a "BUSBAR" not sure if HD or Lowes will have that though. I would either go to an Electrical Supply company or search online.

me thinks SV Jupiter has more stamina than RV ?????? ! i can not fathom why you'd put so much into a land voyage set up. That much could have easily rebuilt SV Jupiter??
