Hello! A piece of advice, and please dont get me wrong: *I honestly know nothing about these turtles in particular* (perhaps you should search or just ask), but there're turtles that can give an extremely strong bite. So, I wouldnt put my hand infront of a turtle's mouth, unless I was sure these turtles dont belong to the ones I mentioned above. Regards

Excellent video as always guys. I think that those turtles released by someone there. It reminds me the Amazon turtle that you can buy from a pet shop. Actually we have massive turtles the careta- careta here at Ionian see. They grow bigger almost 150kg their head is big like snt Bernard and their bite takes arm not only finger

A very enjoyable video I have not yet gone to Kournas lake but I went to Georgioupoli a 3 km walk from where you’re now. There you’ll see the smallest church out on a man-made rock narrow path in the sea where people get married it’s worth to explore.. 👏🏻

I was there in august 2019, and water levels were much much much higher, beautiful place!

Amazing place, 💙💙isn't it? I don't know how the water levels fluctuate, but I read online that in the summer, they are very low.

@@Sunpire yea, apparently that year they were unusualy high for summer due to a lot of rain during spring, and IF i remember correctly, water was quite cold :D

When we were there, the water was surprisingly warm! Probably as the levels get higher, the water is colder, too.
