Fast forward 20 years, after complaints from neighbours, the local council serves notice to clear the land of hazardous waste and the enforcement is to return all materials to the country of origin. VW Germany suddenly find themselves with a stash of parts and decide to re-start production of beetles & buses... I think there may be a problem...

You guys should give a hint about the price range your paying for finds like these. I’ve been wrenching on VW’s for over 50 years and I’ve never seen prices skyrocket like they are doing now on stuff I wouldn’t even have looked twice at years ago. If you scored on these it would be nice to see there is hope and still some good deals to be had. Keep up the good work! I love Thursdays because I can’t wait for the next video. You guys rock!

Now you can take the 914 engine and put it in the FIB and you can get Tommy to rebuild it . Those do not get end play problems as much. The only problem with those is the heads. They wear out the guides and need real valve jobs. Congrads . it nice

A neighbor recently had her BMW towed home. Driver angled the flatbed until the car dropped off, he then pulled forward until the rest of the car fell off! I know, I should have gotten video of it but I was in shock watching this! Glad it wasn’t my VW!!

it was hard to hear, but what did he say about making the front seats? because it was tubbed, the seat was thinned out to save on seating height? Where are the seats from, and how did he get the low profile seats? I need to figure something out like this for my split-window too. Not because I tubbed my bus, but because I'm very tall and need as much room as I can get. Any recommendations?

yes the seats are from a vanagon, so a little lower profile, they scooped out some of the lower cushion to make them even a little lower.
