We Quit Sugar, Here's What Happened
#buffdudes #dietchallenge #sugar
We've done prior videos in the past which were low in sugar including keto and carnivore but have always been interested in seeing how'd we'd feel when taking out all added sugars in addition keeping things such as fruits to a minimum. As sugar has really made our energy levels fluctuate in the past, our main goal was to see that if we quit sugar it'd help us to keep our energy levels from both spiking and also crashing. Here we go!

I love this! Heath and Nutrition are so important and overlooked early on in life. Coming from a 32yr old receiving my first epidural cortisone shot next week...you get one body, one life, and turns out I'm not invincible.

I love this! Heath and Nutrition are so important and overlooked completely. I asked a spine specialist 4 days ago if I should cut out sugar, or change my diet, drink more water, exercise, try STEM CELLS...to avoid surgery. He said no to all every suggestion. I'm 32 receiving my first epidural cortisone shot next week...let me tell ya it sucks! Just some advice I wish I had. You get one body, one life, so treat it right. You're not invisible and some injuries can't be fixed. Get health insurance thru work, the state, private, a free clinic, see if you are eligible on a sliding financial scale. If your body doesn't feel right go to the doctor. If you don't agree with that doctor get a second opinion. Find a primary care doctor you like and trust. I wasted 10 years of my life listening to all the wrong people. Take care of yourself, number one. It's your life. Have a good support system of kind, honest people, whether it be friends, church friends, or family who believes you, supports you, loves you and wants the best for you. Don't listen to other people telling you to work through it, you're fine, nothing's wrong with you, toughen up, it's all in your head. When you know you feel pain. GO TO THE DOCTOR. You feel sick, tired, not yourself even though you eat right, sleep right, and exercise something isn't normal = GO TO THE DOCTOR, PRAY FOR HEALING AND GUIDANCE. Find hope in the Bible when you feel you have no one and nothing to turn to, remember you always do. Whoever is reading this, I pray you lay down whatever burden you're carrying at the feet of the cross. It's not yours to carry. Jesus died so you may have life and life abundantly. Father I pray stress go in Jesus and strength come, bring your supernatural strength. Bring strength to breakthrough whatever battles they've been facing. I pray for breakthrough and healing as a nation. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name I pray Amen. God Bless!

I had a major problem with sugar in my past. For over 13 years I was around 400 lbs, mostly due to sugar. At 31 years old I started to lose weight and within 1 year (11 months to be exact) I had gone down to 167. But I needed to fix my body's recomp. I decided one day to cut added sugar to no more than 7g a day. With cutting out nearly all social media (Twitter and Facebook) for the last 4-5 months, I feel as if I've finally broken the death grip that sugar had over me all those years. I used to crave and salivate when I saw sugary foods, now nothing. No physiological response at all.

"sugar is rare in the wild" Every fruit, tuber, seed, nut, and even most vegetables: "You sure about that?" The idea of this video is to show one extreme. If you're really worried about sugar intake, just cut out added sugars. Making sure you eat plenty of vegetables and fruits will help you get and stay lean far more than treating sugar like it's cyanide will. Even with added sugars you can stay lean as long as your calories and macros are on point. Kinda hard to fill up on sugar if you're trying to make sure you get enough protein, good carbs, healthy fats, and fiber. Just remember that more sugar means less food volume for your calories...
