Try peach dump cobbler. I do it in a Dutch oven, but you should be able to do it in your Weber Q with a bit of practice to get temps and times right. *Preheat your oven Q to 350F. (you can convert to C if you like) *Take an average sized baking pan for something like box mix brownies and drop in 4 to 5 half tablespoons of butter randomly in the pan. *Take one ~15oz can of peaches with the liquid into the baking pan. *Take a second can of peaches and pour the liquid from it into the first can and save for a later step. *Dump these peaches (without the liquid) into the baking pan with the first can of peaches. *Spread the peaches around to evenly distribute them in the pan. *Now dump in one box of spiced cake mix. DO NOT STIR or MIX, just dump it in and carefully spread it out evenly over the peaches. *Drop 3-4 more half tablespoons of butter randomly onto the cake mix. DO NOT STIR or MIX. *Carefully drizzle the can of peach liquid from the second can into a Tic Tac Toe pattern over the cake mix. DO NOT STIR or MIX anything!!! *Now place this in your Weber Q the same way you set up for pizza (but try to keep your heat at 350F). *Bake for 45 mins to an hour, or until the top of the cake looks brown with cookie like texture, with bubbly stuff in areas where the liquid and or butter were placed. NOTE: The smell will drive you nuts the closer it gets to completion. Eat it warm with a scoop of v'nilla ice cream, or cold for breakfast. Da Bomb! You an thank me later!

Great vid as usual. It is actually quite easy to install a thermometer on a BabyQ if you have on old barbie that is destined for verge collection. Remove the thermometer from the old BBQ, mark out hoes, drill and install. Works great. I highly recommend the Weber meat thermometer for a perfect roast every time. They aren't cheap but good for peace of mind.

Thanks Ronny for another cooking video! Seeing you make pizza in the Weber Q many videos ago inspired me to try it in mine and now I don't make them any other way. The bottoms are crunchier than ever still I haven't burnt a single one. But I have never used a convection tray because I hadn't noticed you were using one, it still works fine. So far I haven't made a pork roast but now I think I definitely need to, looked so yummy... Probably you could point out how you maintain the Q cleaning-wise in another video.

Considering the weber. Looks like a good way to cope with fire restrictions. If you want to see something that cooks lots of good food quickly checkout a Orion Cooker smoker/stock pot. It's a bit bulky but if you can light one it'll fix a meal for a whole group fast and no waiting to preheat.

Hay Ronnie. When I'm cooking my roasts I don't use the convection tray. I use a aluminum tray big enough to fit the trivet (some cheaper brands I cut down to make fit). two reasons why, 1) I fill it with water to steam as well as cook moist meat & 2) no fat fires/easy clean Note- only use enough water so that the trivet is just out of water & I top it up when I check the roast.

Instead of a convection tray I use two sheets of alfoil on top of each other (of around equivalent size to the convection tray) with some slits through the foil to promote the convection effect of a weber. It works just the same as the convection trays and is a lot cheaper. Easy to peel off after cooking and throw away.

Would be good to try cooking one of those Inghams turkey rolls (from woolies) in that Q Ronny. Might make a nice change from red meat if your camping or on an expedition, variety is important. Can't help but thinking that other than a roast it'd be easier to just whip something up on a regular gas BBQ/cooker like a Coleman?

Please don't spray the grill plates with oil - the truth is that most of the oil burns off before it can be of any benefit, and it can actually make the grates stickier if you're cooking at a temperature above the oils smoke point. Oiling your food is much more effective.

1) Pork is full of oil - Do NOT rub olive oil on it - in fact, it makes the skin burn and stay soft. The top side of any pork roast should only have salt. 2) Use fine cooking salt - it has more surface area than large flakes and will dry the crackling more thoroughly adding to its crunchiness. 3) NEVER cover crackling in alfoil because it steams the crackling and makes it soft. Always leave it open to the air. If you cover it, use paper. It is ok to remove the crackling and use alfoil on the meat to rest it and keep it warm. For the crackling use paper or nothing. 4) A gas bbq makes pork roast taste like gas and isn't very nice. You'd be better off with a coal weber or a cast iron camp oven. Coming, as you do, from the world capital of potato and pork roast I really thought you'd have this subject under control - seems not. I give this pork roast three out of ten. You burned it. And before I get abused by your viewers, which is often the case, let me explain that I have 12 pork roast videos on my channel and I also get paid by guests to cook them pork roast. And my family own a piggery in DK. I'm not an expert but I have some idea..... Nice pizza - Well done :-) I clicked like although your pork roast was abysmal. You can improve by a country mile. I'm trying to help you..... Remember - A mile is 10km. :-)

Weber Qs are very gas efficient. You can get plenty of roast, bbq, bacon & eggs, etc. meals out of the same bottle. I have the mid size Q and rarely need to have the dial above half way to keep the heat up. I also have the thermometer in the hood meaning that it is easy to keep an eye on the temperature and adjust as necessary.
