right now lets say you wanted to add a jaw movement or the lower fin needed some form of animation, how could you go about adding another join, would you just add it straight to the hirachy then hand weight it? i thought that is what he was going to explain around 25 minutes but thats more about how to make custom animation from a pre set animation.

Character rigging question: What if you needed to adjust the weights (or however the deformers work) because something didn't bend correctly? Can they be adjusted? Can they be adjusted even after an animation has been done? Can they be added, adding a jaw to the shark rig for example? Thanks!

After putting the shark model into the binding panel, my shark did not animated...It is still not bonded with the mesh. I try another model and it is okay, but it did not work with some model as well. I can't find the reasons.
@michaelgehrig38005 жыл бұрын
Hey everyone, i have a question. I tried to do the exact same, just with my own model. But when i click "animate" suddenly the whole spine is totally twisted. It also changes everytime i click anything, even if i select an object on the right side. And it also changes when i hit "reset pose". when i click the play-button, it kinda untwists, but the pectoral fins and the tail are hanging. The same thing also happens with a pre-riggend model when i unbind it and bind it again in the exact same pose. Does anybody knows what i'm doing wrong?
@Qwalsius4 жыл бұрын
I've had the same issue. I rebuilt a model a few times and not sure if it was a bug. I got it to work by accident with a model I applied a UV baked map to and thought I would do the same on a low res mesh but then hit the same problem and I can't figure out where I'm messing up in the process. If you have found a solution I'd love to know.

I can't apply skin, I only see the skeleton. It's not clear at all how to do that. You start with a shark model but you don't explain how to make it appears. I followed you step by step but I can't have the same result, for example under the window "Binding" I don't have anything.
@Qwalsius4 жыл бұрын
I had that issue at first and then wasn't certain how I got it to work but even following the steps my model collapses the moment I click 'animate' after binding.

@Valandreos3 жыл бұрын
