This is what a typical week in my life looks like as an architecture student at USC School of Architecture. I hope you enjoy the video, and let me know if you would like to see more. Vlogging is still pretty new to me so allow me time to get better. I also want to do a Q&A in one of my next videos so leave some questions down below for me to answer.

Keep up the good work! It is so true that architect majors are some of the hardest working there is. If you’re watching this video and you’re scared off by how little sleep some people are getting, TAKE IT FROM A FELLOW 3RD YEAR ARCH STUDENT, I havent had to pull a single all nighter yet and I have all As so far. If you make sleep a priority you will find a way, I promise. I can’t function without sleep so just wanted to let anyone thinking of becoming an architect that you can get sleep too! It’s just takes wayyyyyy too much discipline 😅 Thanks for sharing the struggles! love the vid 🤍

eogo13 do u have any advice for a freshman in highschool interested in being an architecture? Bc Ngl I’m interested into becoming a pediatrician too, Bt I rlly want to have a back up plan in case if I don’t want to take something in medical. I’m js trying to get an idea of how architecture is like. Maybe I could change my pathway (while it’s still not too late) if I like architecture more than taking the med field into consideration.

Ive never understood all nighters. You can be so much more proactive with even a few hours of sleep rather than zero. If you are proactive from day 1 and have a balanced lifestyle you wont ever need to lose a lot of sleep. It is a quality rather than quantity approach. This is from an architecture graduate who took one all nighter lol.

it’s more of like a prioritization thing. if you get work done before u sleep, you’ll have tons of time to work. but if u sleep first, your time is already limited. sleep is priority number two (until it becomes priority number one)

I'm a third year architecture student from Malaysia, currently interning at an architecture firm. It's crazy how architecture life is basically the same everywhere. Its a hassle too since you can't leave your stuff there since it might be thrown out & its not open 24/7 so I usually will work my projects at home... There's also a few times where we did group projects & my group mates became nomads moving from 1 classroom to another classroom for a few times😂 since we can't stay in 1 place & studios were full

I'm an architecture student and our class schedule is 8am-5pm at most. 8am is constant until Thursdays and Fridays which is 9am so we mostly sleep well maybe on weekends
