I’m agnostic about how I feel about Courtney Love, sometimes I thinks she’s cool, sometimes I think she’s egomaniac, but I will say, despite all the drugs I’m sure that have screwed with her mind, she’s actually pretty well spoken and seems to remember a great deal about the late 80s/ early 90s rock scene.

If Courtney had all of these journals, pictures & video of him, why couldn't Frances watch or go through them like any of us would? That would make it personal to her, Courtney could explain things to her like what was going on in their lives, but instead a film maker was given this privilege to go through all this personal stuff of Kurt's & animate Kurt's life and make it appear how HE thought it should be betrayed?! Makes no sense to me. Don't get me wrong, I was so excited when I heard about this movie finally being made and had waited the 20 years for someone to make it but I was disappointed on how this was done and that it was said it was so Frances could know who her dad was. I was around during the Nirvana days and to be honest I didn't learn to much more about Kurt than what's already been said for years & I'm just a fan.

I had a roommate in Athens, GA that acted like Courtney Love and in a lot of ways even looked like her. I know how narcissistic people like this can be, and just being around them can really drain you as a person. The way Courtney talks about being a scenester and not a groupie is hilarious to me. Fame and money is more important to her than anything else, and if you can't see that, then you have blinders on.
