List of stand out thoughts I had listening to this lol: Can't believe the crab slander 😔 Really the green album slander in general, its not Pinkerton I know but its a sold B album I dislike most of the songs on Maladroit but I agree its got good guitar I hold no strong opinions on make believe outside of Perfect situation and that was an acceptable placement Red Album is super underrated in my opinion Pork and Beans is def S smh HEART SONGS SHIT??? Insane take Dreamin is the superior dream based weezer song I cant take all this Red Slander Angel and the One is actually one of the ones I like less lmao I like the Christmas album but in the same way I like christmas songs, not the way I like weezer I'm your Daddy is my guilty weezer pleasure, it goes is S for me and I know it shouldn't Let it all Hang out is also a fav of mine Dont wanna let you go actually isnt the final song on the youtube album and it pisses me off because it ends with in the mall instead Hurly is pretty forgettable for me but I do like Memories and Ruling Me Unspoken is my favorite off Hurley, based I've never really payed much mind to False Metal EWBAITE is pog I kinda hate the british are coming, but thats just me Cleopatra is up there for me White is one of the few albums I dont skip any songs on Thank God for Girls is S Love King of the World, also in the music video for this song, the guy in the king outfit looks very much like my highschool english teacher Not the Jacked Up slander too Pacific Daydream was actually my introduction to Weezer, and remains a nostalgic favorite to this day I like Teal but once again, not in the way I like Weezer Black Album is also one I like despite everything Ok Human is a very nice album is what I'd say Van weezer has some bangers, but is pretty whatever overall Blue dream is good I do not care what anyone says (Original demo would have been better I can concede to that)

It is a quite factual hate, many of the songs have the same sound right down to a guitar solo that just repeats the vocal melody.

@@finslaw i understand why that can be annoying to some people but to me i think of it as that being the green albums charm, them just having fun and being able to write catchy, short, direct and concise songs regardless of what people thought, and in my opinion rivers best melodies and vocal performances are on this album, not to mention that some of weezers most creatively structured and written songs make it on this album so the hate is completely unwarranted but again, its not something i have a problem with

The lyrics are deeper than you probably look at them. It's through the lens of the person ending the relationship, they view the breakup as having been inevitable and how the person they hurt should have somehow known better. They excuse their actions by saying they are "insane" and that "fires gonna burn, when will stupid learn?" Finally the narrator believes he will haunt this person memory and heart every day, further showing they are an egotististical narcissist. Venmo me my 1000 now

The songs meaning is abundantly clear with just a once-over of the lyrics, there's nothing deep about it. Most Weezer songs are sung from a narcissistic POV because.. River's is a narcissist, like most entertainers are.. I still have no idea what is special about this song. At least his narcissism on early albums was earnest, his attitude in this song just annoys me.
