Hi guys. This is a video to show how easy it is to adjust the power on the HW110 so long as you no longer have an anti tamper. If I can do it, so can you. please make sure you keep you gun within legal power levels for your territory.

My falcon prairie bm has always put out 11.8 with field diabalos tested with a heavier pellet and got less but my 110k put out 10.3 after getting it second hand from a well know gun shop in north west so will be getting in touch with them soon to get it sorted

Thanks for the video.. When you turn the crono on You will see it flash( PS ) then hit the button right away and it will change to fps.. But you have to be fast to hit the button when seeing P.S

Hello, realy nice Video.I'm German and I only understand broken English. That's why some things are unclear to me in your video. Can you tell me how much performance this setting brought. It's clear to me that you had 180 fbs according to the settings, but how much did you intend to the renovation.

As a precaution I would get hold of the heaviest pellet you can find and just run a few through whilst checking with your crono to double check your not over the 12 ft pounds limit as this can happen if you're carful.

As previously mentioned, always check your chrono readings with an assortment of different weights. The firearms police are only interested in what the rifle is capable of as a maximum, not what you get with just your preferred pellet. I can see as much as a 2ft l/b spread with my different testing weights. Your chrono is capable of being switched between FPS and MPS with a single button press during its startup process. Also, yes, the UK rifles, as far as i know, should have an adjustment lock screw for the hammer. Certainly based on my limited experience. That being said, i have never worked on that particular rifle, but hammers are susceptible to a lot of vibrations and can move from their set point over time and usage. Karl

I noticed you didn't have to slacken the grub screw ( TX 8 Torx driver required for this ) down the hammer adjustment prior to inserting 4mm allen key was this also removed as well as anti tamper pin , as I purchased a new hammer shuttle with no anti tamper pin and broke it in the process of trying to adjust it because I was not made aware of it . Apparently this grub screw is tightened up after required power adjustment is reached to prevent the power adjustment altering whilst using the rifle .

Mine came with anti-tamper attached which I had to have removed, the written instructions are available on the HW100 tuning website on adjuting Power Once AT removed but there was no mention of a grub screw I'm afraid.

Yes, the instructions on the HW Tuning site have broken a lot of hammer spring shuttles - including mine. There is a T-8 locking grub screw inside the 4mm allen adjuster port. You MUST loosen this T-8 screw PRIOR to making any adjustment with the 4mm allen. Weihrauch emailed me this information after I broke mine using the HW Tuning instructions. Because the UK HW110s come with an anti-tamper plug, perhaps they don’t install the T-8 after they remove the anti tamper plug. The lack of the T-8 locking screw is VERY likely the reason that you constantly see UK HW110 owners complaining of “power loss”. Its not power loss, they are missing the T-8 lock down screw that prevents the hammer springer adjuster from moving. HW Tuning really needs to “fix” their instructions to mention the T-8 screw for the rest of the world. Of course, they are in the business of fixing broken hammer spring shuttles, lol.
