I bought the Weishi for my first time using a safety razor recently. I was extremely careful after hearing so much about how easy it is to cut yourself. I missed some spots under the jawline the first time, but no cuts. I had the easiest, closest shave I have ever had. A safety razor really cuts everything just with simple smooth passes. Feels great. I'm happy so far considering the cheap price. I need to take time to be careful and enjoy the process, so now, I shave a few hours before I need to go out anywhere. Now, I'm looking for a different model safety razor just for the fun and joy. It is definitely a better shave than disposable razor shaving, and definitely the art of manliness in my opinion.

I have the long handle shipped from China for 13 bucks. just used this morning for the first time in a while. it was awesome. my technique has improved a lot since I used it last. my favorite is still the Merkur 34c but I love all of my current 9 razor rotation.

I just ordered one of these for like $11 shipped in the same blue box and extra blades. I have the long handled version of it but branded as the "Wilkinson Classic" razor. It came with 5 extra Wilkinson blades too. It works fine and has a good weight to it. Get one you'll like it.

I got a vander hagen model weishi. It shaves like a 40s50s super speed. Yours looks like the nickel finish. Decent razor

I have the same razor, only my box said Van der Hagen with no carrying case or brush for $18. This also looks suspiciously like a Micro touch 'as seen on TV'. Paired up with a proper blade and good technique, it shaves pretty well.

I love mine. I have sensitive skin and it shaves mild enough to be comfortable. I have 3 Parker TTO's and they are all more aggressive than my Weishi. I'm going to order a long handle model soon.

I have had two different Weishi saftey razors. Had a Van Der Hagen branded one that sadly got smashed and recently picked up a Shavely's branded one from DG for $7. Their a great razors for the price, my go to is a merkur 23c I've had since 2016.

If you want a high end version sold and shipped from the US try Edward London and Co. on Amazon. I love mine using Feathers blades. Really well made and the price is great..

I am using a Dollar Tree razor with a Voskhod blades that I use in it and it works pretty good. Of course it only works good with Voskhod blades in it because the blades that can with the razor sucks. But for a dollar what else do I expect from it..

I have been messing around with the Dollar Tree TTO safety razor that came with 5 blades. Enjoy the shave enough for a really crap level brand to get the weishi chrome long handle one and some astra blades. I was usingthe 5 blade disposable Equate walmart cartridges and have 1 new one left. Instead of buying more the Dollar Tree one I bought for shits and giggles really turned me onto safety razor shaving. If that one provides a decent shave I imagine some astra blades and a decent razor is better. Sometimes one side on the dollar tree one pops up on the butterfly part and I have to open and close it again which can be scary. I was surprised it actually felt ok and has some weight. Cant wait to get my weishi long handle TTO and astra blades in about a week. Just ordered from Amazon like 5 mins ago.

Ok I got one to try it out. I wouldn't recommend it. Here's why. If you're already a de razor guy this razor will be a disappointment compared to any reasonable quality razor. If you're just starting, you may think they're all like this and that the whole thing sucks. A loser either way. The fit and finish was good. It was below average in the shaving department. I suppose if you kept trying you'd get better with it but imho it's never going to be that good.
