Thank you Amy, I have just taken my glimakra to being a Drawloom. Watching your videos have really helped me to understand the setting up process. I was struggling a bit with the written instructions but you have made it so clear. So excited to get started.

This type of loom is blowing my mind! I'm just getting proficient on the rigid heddle and starting to daydream about future fabric I might make. The amount of detail one can do with this loom is dizzying lol

Oh, my, this could be a dangerous rabbit hole to venture down. I've done a little weaving on a rigid heddle loom, and acquired a Leclerc Compact floor loom a little while back that I'm almost through setting up. There's something about the style of the Glimakra Standard loom that appeals to me. I've been eyeing them for a while now. I've seen the term drawloom here and there, but had no idea what they were or what type of fabric they could produce until I stumbled across your channel. I love the types of fabrics you show drawlooms are capable of. I need to start playing the lottery so I can afford a drawloom, and a larger house to put it in. :-)

I'm not sure if you remember me, we had a short discussion the other day about the ability to weave damask on a countermarch loom. I can't find a good description of the difference between a Dutch Vs a Swedish loom, this may be a fun video topic, Diving into the technical differences between the two. Regardless I am interested if you either know somewhere i could find this or if you would be able to help me in my quest for knowledge. I do know you are quite knowledgeable and very willing to share, and I really appreciate all your content.

Thank you, this is amazing. I covet a draw loom but simply don’t have the space. I am considering a 16 shaft table loom, however, in order to create simple drawn designs not possible on my 8 shaft floor loom. If you could demonstrate draw weaving on a table loom sometime, that would be wonderful.

Yikes, how do you warp such a thing, and how long would that take? I would love to see that. I use floor and table looms, plus a rigid heddle, but I've never seen a drawloom. I look forward to more from you. Thanks for sharing.

Just found you! Thank you! This is my goal to have a draw loom, I am just obsessed with the designs. I will be watching this channel closely and followed your insta. Are there any good discussion forums for drawlooms? I see there is a facebook group, just wondering what you think.
