Western Lock® is an attractive, weathertight, and durable standing seam panel. It’s a snap lock panel system with concealed fasteners and clip attachment. Just as the name suggests, it’s installed by easily snapping the panels together, without the need for additional tools or seaming.
Standing seam is a concealed fastener roofing system. Because the fasteners aren’t exposed to the elements, they don’t need rubber sealing washers that will eventually fail or loosen themselves due to expansion and contraction. The concealed fastener system requires the least amount of maintenance and is the most weather-tight roofing system.
Snap lock standing seam panels that are clip fastened are a popular choice for standing seam roofing in both commercial and residential applications because it’s the best all-around standing seam panel when you consider performance, cost, and ease of installation.

Very Low Sloped Roofs - Must have a roof pitch of 2” to 3” in 12” or greater.
Difficult To Install - Easier to install when compared to mechanically seamed, but still a complicated panel system to install correctly.
Oil Canning - Oil canning is inherent in all metal roofs but is only a cosmetic issue. It will not affect the weather tightness of the panel. When oil canning occurs, the standing seam will have a wavy and wrinkled appearance.
Adding striations and stiffening ribs to the panels will minimize the appearance of oil canning.

What is the wind rating of this product? would it work on a mobile tiny house moving down the road at 70mph?

I always thought you get what you pay for. Not in this case! I went with Hy-Grade roofing even though they were by far the most expensive quote I received. Worst decision I could have made. They promised to install the roof in 4-6 weeks, of course they were late. When they finally showed up without the proper equipment and they damaged my property. Sad part is that my poor wife found the damage after coming home from her frontline COVID job. Broke my heart to see how upset she was when she saw the damage! SHAME ON HY-GRADE! They are really proud of the “Quality Audit” that they do, but of course they won’t give you a copy of the audit…lol BTW - the “Quality Audit” they did at my house consisted of 2 guys coming over to pick up the leftover junk they left at my house for a month. They never even went up on the roof! Horrible customer service experience! Save your money use someone else!

How often are you delivering to Orange County Ca?

Joel, Orange County is an inexpensive delivery, dependent on your order details and delivery location it's likely $250 ballpark. Sales can give you an accurate freight rate. Your delivered lead time on the order will not exceed 2 to 3 weeks after we have a signed order. Joe, We don't do Eagle View, but could do Bluebeam. If you have someone else's Eagle View report with dimensions send it to us. Either way, best bet is to call our office and speak with sales. How large is this project?
