Catching a Giant Mud Crab in Fiji by using Spear fishing for snapper to catch bait for a monster mud crab for the first time in Fiji.
Today we are spear fishing with Michael Simon from Immersion Fiji and we are using a old mangled one spot snapper that got all kinds of cut up on a reef for bait. It's old and very smelly perfect for catching a tasty mud crab.

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes, and no fish zones. Over the past 5 years now I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch.
Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.
