I been thinking maybe do a tour of where Skirmish Camps are in the world? Rivendell, Esteldin, Shire, and other key places/zones that player quests lead us to. 👍👍⭐💖

it's a pity they can't be used for instances. I have one of these now and it's hard to make it yourself.

What's the in-game explanation for skirmishes? Are they some kind of war games or battle practice, or are you volunteering for special one-shot missions? Are they simulation/visions, or can characters die, suffer equipment damage, etc.? If you DO die, can you resurrect and rejoin the same battle, or do you just start a new one?

You are able to rejoin same battle. In lotro they count it as being "defeated" since if you died it would brake the lore a bit. Not just everyone can resurrect. They are supposed to be small stories of different situations you can replay over and over. And yes, I think your items take ware damage still if you are Free to play normal.

Not sure what games you've played, but if you know about icy veins and how they deep dive in talent trees, etc, for each class every patch, I wouldn't mind seeing those through your POV. I'm using some red tree guide for my champion right now. Think it's from LOTRO wiki.

Do you think it's worth improving the abilities of the Skirmish Soldier? I haven't done anything with them, mine all just have the Level 1 (or maybe 2?) skills they received in the Skirmish intro quests. The extra and improved skills cost both marks and game gold, and since most of the skirmishes I've done have been parts of the Book quests I haven't bothered beyond the basics. My Skirmish Soldiers die fast, yours seemed to be very durable.

Humm, ya it depends. I think it helps. But I have not used them alot 130+ so I would have to do a bit of testing.
