I don't get the logic...If Westjet is losing pilots because they are going to the south, that means the pilots have choice to find employment elsewhere...Why strike and force westjet for the raise? Just go to the south and find alternative job...no?

Most cdn pilots can't legally work in the states as they need a green card or emp visa.

Also if they leave they lose their seniority, they want their cake and eat it too
