Man, I miss Fenrich on BB so much. Not only is he just a godlike player in his own right but Jin is my favorite character, been maining him for a decade by now, so nothing got me more hype when it came to pro footage for this series than watching this man play him and get those main character comebacks. He's definitely been one of my inspirations for years.

My favorite set is still Fenrich v Ryusei grand finals evo 2017. The level of play from that was just insane.

I love CF, it has Rollback Netcode, a huge roster of unique characters with their own unique gimmicks, godlike combos, a fairly low skill floor, and a VERY high skill ceiling. It's legit one of the best FG's on the market.

As a fellow Jin main, Fenrich was my absolute fav player to watch. His combos and playstyle was literally on a different plane of existence. Man I miss BBCF so much. I think the hypest BB set came from BBCP though, with Dogura vs. Galileo at EVO 2014 Grand Finals. That was honestly beautiful to witness

@@PaladineAvenger1 they're both secondary main characters and the 'shotos' of their games, I'd say there's an obvious initial comparison between the two. And I think izayoi is more like johnny (well, some kind of horrific johnny/i-no mashup, why did they think that wouldn't be broken)

@@midorixiv izayoi more resembles ino - floating stuff, highlow mixups, very hard to play. jin is not a shoto, his projectiles are pure trash and he relies on wide normals and sword combos with stuns, exactly what johnny does. Ky has more universal style, he can play zone or rushdown, depending on matchup, jin always goes neutral and trying to win normal battle

To me the thing that really got me invested in BlazBlue was watching Dogura's Azrael go ham in CP back in 2014, been watching and playing the series ever since and had a blast doing so.

8:05 I remember that back in the day people used to meme on Jin's 6A on Dustloop, all the frame data reading monsters calling it bad despite their idols always being cracked by it in the 240p gamecharriot vids uploaded by Jourdal. Always with the excuse that arcades had more delay lol.

There is a lot of unreactable stuff, but I think what he says is true to a degree. As hectic as the game is, a lot of stuff is reactable, while we're currently in an era where stuff like unreactable strike-throw or crossup is more the norm of pressure in fighters.

@@IndigoMecha You most powerful mix is still unreactable, and every game is gonna try to optimize towards unreactable mix. If I'm gonna be honest, BB has way more fucked up mix than any modern game, which is one of its strengths

I think my fav blazblue set of all time has to be SKD vs Dogura at evo in 2015. I watched it when I was pretty young and it has just stuck with me. Not sure what my favorite CF set is, but for chronophantasma that 2015 side bracket grand finals definitely takes the cake for me.

Central Fiction will be a cult classic retro fighting scene like 3S,UMVC3 and MVC2,CVS2,KOF98,LB2,GGXX AC(+R) and #Reload,UMK3,etc...I think the most pop in the series is still CS2 because it was ported a lot of times also in Nintendo consoles.

The Souji vs Fukuu set from the Arcrevo 2019 Losers Top 8 was a great set, maybe don't have any resets and is not a grand final but has one of the hypest and funniest to watch come backs of all times. The set that i mention up here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/griUjcud2sfaeqc.html

I still wonder if they are gonna reveal something BlazBlue (or ArcSys) related at EVO. And what Mori could be working on. -New Blazblue game -New I.P. -A BBTag 2 or an Update to the Mechanics and Controls on BBTAG. Or maybe he's taking a break.
