Wow! Honestly, I did not expect that this video is going to be viral.😅 Thank you for subscribing and for these kind comments, and I’m sorry if I don’t answer , I don’t have time because of school.. On the other hand, *my mother tounge is Hungarian and my English is not that good,* I understand everything I just can’t express myself very well as you can see😅 So that’s why I have mistakes. So many of you have written that this video is only for white women, but I didn’t mean like that.. But yes you are right, I should’ve thought about transgender and colored women too. I’m so sorry for that! As I mentioned before, I didn’t expect that anyone would watch my video.. I feel grateful and terrible at the same time, this attention is scary for me😅 And there is something else.. I would like to ask what kind of video should I make next time?❣️

The thing is I didn't like how they kinda pull the "not like other girls trope" with it. That can also be just a period drama problem in general. Tightlacing scenes to show the "mysoginistic and opressive" garmet that is the corset is also annoying because it's not historically accurate. I could go on and on about the way period pieces portray modern day fenism but I wont.

I think this mentality of "marry a rich man". is a foolish one, especially still hearing it today. As if women can't make their own money. Or that the rich don't end up poor anyway. What then? If the rich man becomes poor - go and dump him, for another rich man. Ridiculous to be still saying this to women today.

3 minutes ago I heard yelling in the street down my apartment. A couple was fighting she had a baby in her arms. Suddenly he went to her grabbed her by the neck and pushed her against a wall (the baby still in her arms). I yelled from my balcony "you don't touch her!!!" so he cursed me and spoke very rudely but at least she could go unharmed... We've got to take care of each other.

I can't say how proud I am of you! Well done!! I think the world often thinks we are always jealous of each other. I disagree though. A large population women are like you , kind , caring and always ready to stand up for each other. I've had experiences where seniors were ' just fooling around ' by pulling up younger girl's skirts and catcalling them. They said they were ' complimenting ' they were in 12 , like the senior most class. I'm in 10 rn , this happened a few months back and with all these kids from class 6 who just entered middle school. I was so angry I said " don't even think of that again or else I'll make sure that you stay at home for months with broken limbs you piece of shit. What do u think girls are , some kinda joke? " . They thought it was funny and started laughing until I slapped him across the face and his idiotic friend complained to a teacher who said " if I were you I'd slap him AGAIN " and then spoke to the principal and had him suspended for the rest of the year. His face was remarkable. Sadly we went back in lockdown. Doesn't change the fact that I'm absolutely angry at him.

I’m a 16 years old Vietnamese girl, and one of our most popular traditional outfits is called “áo dài”. This outfit was made by men, and designed mostly for women to wear. The outfit is very inconvenient. The cloth is tight around the body (highlighting the body shape and the chest), very thin and is usually the color white (which if you accidentally spilled water over yourself while wearing áo dài, your undergarments will be exposed.) , the shirt part is long and often very easily to accidentally step on and trip yourself. And if you’re on period? Oh boy..I got some news for you. The amount of girls that got her period leaked through her pants while wearing this outfit is INSANE. It’s white too so it’s very visible and embarrassing. Not only that, the people that are usually forced to wear áo dài are TEENAGE GIRLS. TEENAGE. GIRLS. I saw a post of a picture of high school girls wearing áo dài, but then the rain comes and now they’re exposed, along with the caption of “God knows what he’s doing 😏” . Bro. Even girl teenagers, even KIDS, are victims to this sexual harassment. And the worse thing is? If I have the courage to come up to these people and confront them, I would receive dms of massive threats of rape. Jesus Christ. If I could, I’d rather rot in my own house than to go out and risk the possibility of meeting these kind of men.

And in primary school when it was the birthday of someone we used to give a small gift, a chocolate box or a pencil... but I got a dress. But my mother was here for me and as the times went on i became the best in my class and even in my school, and I gained respect near the end of primary school. Now my situation was different but it'll be the same. And for the record I went on to do the most "manly" job which was the military. I joined an elite force in the French army, and as i came back on the lsland I come from and where a lot of my classmates were we had a party, and I told these girls what I did and they were very impressed. I know it's a bit long but really just to say that you should not listen to them do what you like. Nothing is for men, nothing is for women.

@@abdeviliers6976 First of all, i think i had an aneurism just reading this so thank you for that. Second of all, you say that a deer never hunts a lion and a lion never protects a deer. There is so much wrong with that analogy cuz first of all men and women aren't different species. Lions might not protect deer but they protect lionesses. Secondly women don't need 'protection' from men. We can protect ourselves thank you very much. We just don't need you to go around r@ping every girl you see and flaunting your male privilege everywhere. Now to comment on your "if you don't contribute equally you shouldn't get equal rights" bullshit. First of all, where the hell are you hiding your 5 Nobel prizes for the marvellous change you have made in society in every field possible that you should get more rights than women? And secondly, where the hell do you get off saying women haven't contributed in society like are you living under a rock? Do you realise that you wouldn't even be able to post such shit on the internet if Hedy Lamarr, (yes, a woman. SHOCKING) hadn't created wifi? I'm so sorry. I know as a man i can and will never understand how this feels. All i can do is support the strong women who are fighting every single day for equality; so women stop being fetishized, so teenage girls can like whatever they want without being judged, so little girls arent raped. There's always been a stigma around feminine things. It's considered feminine to be short, and no one likes being short. It's considered feminine to show others your feelings, nobody likes to show others your feelings. It's the little things that feed into the bigger picture. Like the overplayed joke of pretending to be gay to get into the 'girls' sleepover'. So the girls can be objectified and looked at. We men spread so much hate, like how i believe homophobes are homophobes because theyre scared; gay men can objectify men the way men objectify women. Women are actively excluded from communities. Women's sexualities are downplayed, a woman can sleep with a 100 other girls, have sex with 1 guy and still be considered straight. When did it start being okay to think women do everything to impress men. I'm proud to say im a feminist, i've been insulted so many times because of it; which honestly proves my point. I'm not saying this for likes, i want to educate other men. Remember, you will never know how it feels until it happens to you. And it never will, because you are a man.

After reading all these comments and thinking about my own reaction, I realized that I was not as emotionally effected as I was by many much less important videos (I'm male btw.). And this got me thinking: What does this say about a society in which a person, not raised as a woman, a person who did not experiences these problems first hand but still knows about sexism and sexual assault, is not as much affected by this beautiful video as those who suffered from these issues? I know that there also is a great self responsibility in my reaction it is definitely not only to blame on society, don't get me wrong. But I still wonder what got me here? It's very sad how some of our families, not just our community, expects us to look a specific way, act a certain way and be a certain person. We have the right to be what we want, do what we want and act the way we want. Most women and young girls are so pressed on the thought of being pretty to be accepted, or to be rich to be accepted, or to be well known to be accepted. Why? Because that is what some of our families demands from us. KNOW YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, AND IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE DOING YOUR BEST, YOU ARE DOING ENOUGH. YOU HAVE THE CHOICE TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO BE. YOUR SEXUALITY DOES NOT DETERMINE YOUR WORTH. YOUR FINANCIAL STATUS DOES NOT DETERMINE YOUR WORTH. YOUR LOOKS CERTAINLY DOES NOT DETERMINE WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF DOING OR BECOMING. and this goes for some young men too. Society and also family demands so much from us without taking our needs, our dreams and our feelings into consideration.

I remember one day in music class our teacher asked us all to play one song on Spotify, my song started playing and the boys in the class all groaned in annoyance. One even said "ugh not this song". I now barely share my interest with people, you can't get to know my interest cause a 13 year old boy made me extremely insecure about sharing my music taste and showing my interests.

I live in the Middle East and believe me we still on the “past way before women had right” people may say no it’s not true because they still don’t understand how much rights they don’t have if if fhe government was good families will never change their mind you still could be killed if you show your face or your body or simply just post anything online it’s true some are open minded but the majority are not , as women I still can’t travel alone or even going to another university out of town and I know people will come up with “not all of us like thattt” I know but we are the majority and half of them are ashamed to admit it so they keep denying that unless it was funny joke on the internet

@@Vectron90 yeah, and that's wrong. but a woman cannot claim rape in multiple states. she cannot say that she has been raped. if she has been, she is forced to carry the child until she gives birth to it, and will most likely put it into adoption because she can't handle a child. a male can have sex with hundreds of women and never have to deal with the consequences, but a girl has sex with just one wrong choice and she's stuck with a kid and no help or support. look, but genders have issues they need to fix, but simply claiming that I am proud to be a female is not a reason to be rude. if you don't like what i say, move on.

i read a comment that pretty much described what feminism means to me. to me it means that everyone is treated as an individual, not as a man or woman but as an individual deserving of respect. to me feminism is acknowledging both sides of the table, for example how men have much higher suicide rates because it isn’t normalized for them to talk about their feelings; or how half of the women in this world have experienced sexual assault yet 99.5% of rapists will never spend a day in prison because rape isn’t a “serious” enough crime, or women feel scared to come through for fear of not being heard. all these problems are serious things that we fail to acknowledge a lot and i think that once we do start acknowledging them we can finally have fairness and equality. to me that is the true goal and definition of feminism, not about bringing one gender down to lift another up or getting defensive when people do try to empower other women/men, but it’s about empowering both men and women and solving the problems that plague us all around the world

If you dress up in a way that attracts attention, you should also be prepared to get a lot of that attention. You can't have it both ways. Men can't help looking if you're basically walking half-naked, it's biological instinct. If you don't want to be stared at then don't wear skimpy clothing, it's that simple. Also western women already get the same opportunities as men.

@@mgicllmgn6402 So what? Again, why don't I hear women complain about all the perks they have, that men don't? You want to know why women's movements have achieved so little the past decades? And why they have managed to reverse Roe vs. Wade, plus how they have somehow been able to get themselves selected for the military draft in some countries?😂 A. Women complain far too much! And nobody likes a whiner.😃Also, once you start to complain it's hard to stop, which leads to more complaining. B. Women historically have a lot of trouble thinking for themselves, and on top of that they have a strong herd mentality. If a few complain how hard life is for women or how all men are trash, suddenly the herd starts moving and screaming like Pavlovian dogs. That's a great quality to have when you're a Girl Scout or a Jehovah’s Witness. But it's a lousy quality for adults who are capable of critical thinking (in theory) and who really should come up with their own theory, and finally achieve something in the world on their own, without depending on the pack. C. Women don't know what they want.😊Yes, a real cliché but that doesn't make it less true. When women have white skin, they want to have brown skin. When they have brown skin, they want to have white skin. If they have small breasts, they want to have big breasts and vice versa. The only thing definitely don't want to be, is poor! D. Women take themselves and their problems far too seriously, plus most women lack a sense of (self-deprecating) humor. Why do you think the best and most succesful comedians are men?😉So are the best chefs, for that matter. The best fashion designers or the greatest tech innovators. The best inventors, the best film directors, the best scientists, the best watchmakers. I could go on (and on) but I think you get my point. You know what you women are the best at? Complaining!😉A movie like Barbie together with another film this year, Oppenheimer, offers a very clear analogy. Where Barbie, a movie about a blonde, gold digging chick with big tits, together with her materialistic, plastic friends, received more attention and success at the box office. But it was Oppenheimer, an unbelievable story of staggering intellect and a truly inspirational man, took home the gold at the Oscars. As well as a place in movie history. And what did lots of women do worldwide?😃Yep, they complained!😂🤣I tell you, women are hysterical! But to truly appreciate the humor and irony, you have to be a man. Thanks God! 😎

@activellabella5076
@activellabella5076 Жыл бұрын
 @wealpergg5327 I think what makes women strong is being able to thrive in a man's world despite the disadvantages that come with being a woman. Most men AND women don't know that, but the menstrual cycle has 4 phases during the month, and only during 1 of those phases women feel good. During the other 3, women either have low energy levels, are in pain, or depressed. Men have a 24-hour cycle, where their testosterone levels are highest in the morning and lowest in the night. Which essentially means that they are perfectly in sync with the standard workday. And the standard workday is just not built with a woman's cycle in mind. Women's bodies are not so perfectly compatible with the way society has been constructed, which is not shocking when the world is designed by men, for men. The standard workday and job require people to have a sustained level of energy every day, which just so happens to work seamlessly with the male hormone cycle. Being able to push through all of that misery and thrive in a system where you are expected to be productive all the time (but you only feel good during one fourth of the month) and outdo people who are actually compatible with this sytem (men), makes you a pretty strong person. And I think that you need to be an incredibly strong person mentally, when you manage to achieve your dreams and goals when the world, your mind and your body are against you for the majority of the time.

Love this. One thing that would have taken this to the next level for me would have been including clips of women who WANT to learn to be a good mother and/or wife. Girls and young women who find joy in those traditional "feminine arts" such a needlework or decorating. Not antagonizing a girl because she likes and enjoys traditionally "girly" things. We sometimes focus so hard on being able to do what men do that we treat that girl whose dream IS to become a wife and mother as if that very desire sets the movement back hundreds of years. To me, feminism is not about women only choosing to do or be what has, in the past, been reserved for men. It is about seeing more women represented in media as full human beings with flaws and assets, good and evil, humility and arrogance *and everything in between because we are human. It is about women being free to choose their own path, WHATEVER that path may be without being ridiculed or feeling like they need to explain or justify themselves. (This of course excludes paths that intentionally cause physical or psychological harm to an individual. We're not talking about them.)

this is such a beautiful edit honestly, didn't think i'd find it in my recommendations. feminism isn't a stupid boys vs girls fight like we had as kids, it's a real issue about fighting for our rights and our respect. to all my fellow ladies out there, stay strong, and i'm with you!
