I got a 2014 with just over 100,000 km (wife mostly drives it to work) and so far I've only done VVT solenoids. It rattles on startup now. Could be from burning oil and running it low from not checking enough. Partly my bad, partly horrible engine. It's been good to us, so i should probably do the chain before the inevitable 🙄 Thanks for posting this!

This one was eating some oil too witch is why he didn't fix it and decided to replace it. Oil consumption is a problem with that engine. Thanks for Watching!

How much is the repair for the pistons and valves on average for that exact car?

I don't know exactly but would be a lot, when the valves bend it can also damage the guides in the head and most of the time I would recommend new or used engine to repair the car after valves get bent like this. Because the used engine would be less and the new would have a better warranty. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.

@@juggernaut8647 There is no way of knowing I have seen some chains making bad noise last for a long time and this engine failed without warning.
