So I surprisingly half agree with Thorin in this. I definitely think bjerg is my favorite player in the LCS but he has a bad worlds performance. However that Zilean game where BDD shit on him isn’t entirely his fault. At the end of the day it’s his fault for agreeing to pick zilean but there definitely has to be a problem no ones talking about. How does TSM give eve to self made? How does bjerg pick zilean into bdd, one of the only mods that also picks zilean? If he had pulled zilean into lgd or fnatic I think he would have been able to do better. TSMs picks and teamwork looked like straight solo queue

TSM also doesn't know how to play the comps they draft. They took 1-2 camille, galio on 3 and never camille-galio ulted on anyone.

TSM still plays like season 4, where there was always an optimal team fight or play, where you either outscale or you are ahead in all winning lanes so the other team is at a disadvantage. The problem is they rarely are ahead in lane, and there is no such thing as an "optimal 80-20" play in s10 league. Even for the best teams.

Im a TSM fan, and im pretty damn disappointed .-. The team overall played incredibly scared and didnt adapt to the meta, and this really REALLY got abused by everyone (the first game against Fnatic a lv 1 invade became a tempo lead for Selfmade's Evelynn wich became a 30 cs 2 lv lead for the Eve against the hyperfarming aggressive Nida. Everyone on the team is to blame, but i cant really say anything about the org because i know nothing about it. Broken Blade is just bad at playing weak side; if his team gives him attention, resources and support he is good at playing carry champions, but if he has to weakside GP, tank or anything else he'll just bleed too much farm, exp and kills. It feels like he is ahead or he's useless, and you cant have a toplaner like that. Spica played good overall, the guy is a rookie in a really high pressure situation (first world in a jungle meta, being the jungler for TSM always comes with a burden) even tho he was sadly being gapped by most other junglers. Bjergsen had a very bad run: he went for a lot of supporting picks like Galio and Zilean to enable top and jng with terrible results, and he didnt really adapt to the weird weak mid meta that's going on right now. His Lucian game was very good until it wasn't, and to be fair the mid meta is very team based, but still since his top and jng really need to be strong to succeed he's forced into supportive picks over and over. Doublelift had a sad run full of mistakes, utility adc have never been his forte and right now between Senna, Ashe and Jhin, and yet he made so many damn mistakes. Biofrost was overall pretty average, his roaming wasn't the best and his teamfighting was below average. Overall this is a meta where the team needs to confidently step up and contest territory around and for a fed jungler, and that just was not something TSM could do.

It was evident from Doublelift basically leaving every game with a smile on his face. I wouldn't be smiling if i finished 0-6 on my what 6th or 7th appearance at worlds? Usually players get better, not worse. When you start sliding back, this late in your career, maybe its time to retire?

There's a need for more "advanced stats" like NBA (most notoriously) has. Things like: -ImpactOfPlayer=gold of the player/team gold Make it dependent of average item cost so supps performing well don't get snubbed. Maybe make it more specific to damage dealers and rank AD or AP dmg dealt/gold to see what players are more efficient, and then check their champ pool with more information. -CarryRating=ImpactOfPlayer*25 so 10%=2.5 (support/role player at best)// 20%=5 (no carry)// 30%=7.5 (great carry)// 40%=10 (excellent carry) and 90% is 22.5 (unrealistic insane super carry) *25 is just there to make the number more readable and pretty, in my opinion. (Percentages are gold shares of the team, having 5 players ideal share would be 20% each) If Impact of player is not dependent on average item gold, supps will stack at the bottom Correlate it somehow to the wins or winning% of the team's record to rank player performance in a league Maybe make some of this stats that we usually use, just use things like global gold, sum of all kills/assists/deaths in the game, to see how well a player does compared to the enemy team in the game they both are playing. I don't see a way to rank player level in bad vs good teams, games were you have a good player in a bad situation. Things like skill are hard to measure, because not all botlanes are equal, is easy to check % of last hits but is not the same playing vs cait morg/lux challenging every creep, than twitch rakan. (maybe need a poke rating that takes into account damage taken uncontested or trades, join it to cs/min or something) -Team Damage (taken every 5 mins to make a chart, like they do for gold diff) of X type: X being physical, magic or both. This should show "scaling" from teams into other teams. Have both team's charts overlapped to see when a team takes over, spikes in the comp, etc; in order to tell if teams are able to play around item (or gold) and level spikes. See when and how comps decay. Do the same for tank stats to see if itemization vs tanks and healing is effective (even with armor and ad scaling over time, we should see drops and peaks on items purchases, level spikes, etc; leaving us with a stair like chart). Itemization vs tanks being a hot topic of discussion for the entire season. Stats for items, champion's level/dmg breakpoints in some way related to gold or kills or team gold, kda... Taken universally to rank that player vs what should be happening (setting the benchmark at any point but keeping the rating equal, to rank player performances among themselves, not towards our set conditions) This might be flawed or conceptually wrong, and need some tuning; but this thing should happen, some people smart about the game need to get together and pinpoint this important numbers. This are all numbers easy to get, and most components of them you can see displayed in LIVE casts and the rest are already in the game (gold costs, spell damage, ...). I know this was messy (and youtube comment section isn't the place to make expositions), but this are things that i came up with in a moment. Better analysts would be able to make way better stuff than this in a couple hours. LS take that he "hates" stats is wrong; it's like saying he hates truth, stats don't lie. He hates that people attribute characteristics like player performance to things like KDA (high KDA doesn't always means better player or better carry, maybe that person had a large KDA because he didn't deliver in his carry position and lost the game by doing so)

The problem with TSM is that the players play for stats more then the wins remember stats make you stay in the league and make you viable to get a pay check. Even if you lose still this is common sense and easy to see when they play and that’s a fact. Most players in every sport do this but the ones who are the great do both win and get the stats and even if the stats aren’t there they still get the dub and that’s a simple fact.

You can criticize play style all you want. In the end TSM just have worse players than the teams they lost to. It would have taken throws/upsets for them to get out of groups. Would any of TSM's players be signed as an import in any decent LCK or LPL team? Absolutely not. Except for CoreJJ you can say that about anybody in NA now. Even players that are good in other regions at the time they were signed are no longer good. That's why it's NA.

Why in season 10 are we still dealing with why TSM and overall NA did bad words? I mean for so many years it's the same over and over again. The answer is simple. They live in their NA bubble as they have for so many years, with casters/analysts always boosting them up for TSM/Cloud9/TL like beating the 5th-6th team in NA? When you have unproffesional casters/analysts like Phreak or Kobe where they are doing the same thing in Worlds over and over again, which is always forgiving downplaying their loses in worlds and getting pumped up/shouting when they are like taking enemy jungle camps against GenG.

It’s so pathetic how Spica will get any blame for their games. They complain for years about not having proactive junglers and a lack of NA talent, but you could put a “best in world” jungler (I guess Canyon/SofM) and aggressive support (maybe Mikyx/Hylissang) who look AMAZING on other teams at worlds, and they would look terrible on TSM from making plays alone because no one trusts them and commits to the play. Spica should leave TSM himself and look for a team where they will actually back him up, it might take a couple of years of looking silly but they’d eventually show up much better at Worlds.

Imo the best player in tsm at worlds (not like it's a lot) was spica, and if spica is the best player in tsm, there is a big problem

Lol I think I got it! The reason TSM isn't playing as a team or afraid of fighting is because they're afraid of the results of a loss. Aka flaming from Berg or Double lift if they fuck up. So instead of fighting and sacraficing for the team it's everyman for themselves to carry the game. Berg too scared to make plays cuz DL will flame you if you fuck up. So they're playing not to fuck up vs as a team and fuckin up together and taking equal blame. Instead you got ppl like DL flaming you the moment u mess up.

I'm an NA player right, I'm shit at the game and won't deny it, so I do enjoy watching pro play to make up for my failures, I've been kinda on edge with NA teams to any worlds or MSI events, Cloud9 had always gotten the farthest, and Team Liquid was nice last year, but this year? I'm basically done, NA really does suck, I don't know what the fuck they are on, but they all walk in with their tails between their legs, and play like they are looking for the enemy to kill themselves, its inexcusable

NA has and always will play like a bunch of scared sissies because soloqueue in our region is filled with people on edge of just exiting the client. Our entire server is damaged mentally. People dont take risks and play be straightforward win by attrition tactics. You get these sleeper comps and 45 minute games with 10 total kills that small gold leads accumulate wins. Meanwhile Chinese and Korean professionals froth from the mouth and go nuts.
