I also think these angels might be higher dimensional beings that can be interacted with if you can access those realms. Then let me share one of my "crazy ideas" that you cannot say is wrong... at least, not with our current understanding of consciousness and extraterrestrial / dimensional beings. Ok.. Here we go. Aliens could look like anything. They had to have come from another world and could possibly breathe a completely different type of atmosphere. Ideas could be entity's themselves that exist within this and higher dimensions and we could just be extensions of them like cells in a body. Something has to be telling the cells in our bodies how to behave and the ones that don't behave correctly become cancerous and eventually kill the body they are a part of. So if you start at a single cell and try to figure out what is getting it to behave the way it does you will eventually end up seeing that the brain controls everything even though its not physically connected to it. But why should it end at the brain, maybe there is something controlling us and our thoughts the same way our brain controls our cells.

This is an interesting underestimating perspective of aliens, but it's equally as likely that the overestimating perspective of aliens is true. Just because we use technology to roam mars before sending people doesn't mean they or it need to. It could very well be that they are not vulnerable to our world at all and can come personally, or it could be that in order for us to perceive them they have to come in some kind of physical form which depending on their reason for coming could come looking as men. The skies really the limit and theirs too many unknowns to assume that it's more likely they'd approach us the way we approach other planets.
