The reasons why spurs think they are bigger than actually are is due to how good they have been in the past 6 years compared to how bad they were beforehand despite not winning a trophy. As a Spurs fan, you have to admit that we aren't as successful as Arsenal and Chelsea, however, that doesn't mean we aren't going to say we are better than Chelsea or Arsenal based off a game or a season ( seasons if we are talking strictly Arsenal ). We a definitely not a big club based on footballing success however we are in terms of assets. i.e, Very very good stadium, Incredible training ground and if you were to tell mid-table piss poor Tottenham 10 years ago that we would have Jose Mourinho as a manager in 10 years time we would tell you that you are insane. That's like telling Southhampton Klopp will manage you in 2030

Few Scousers think this current Liverpool team is better than the Treble Winning United team despite a first league Title in 30 years. As a Liverpool fan for the past 20 years. TBH I doesn't see Everton FC as our rivals at all. We have such an incredible records against Everton at Anfield. Normally I doesn't feel any satisfaction if we win against them, like that FA cup win at Anfield last season.
