My ex should listen to this. Everytime we go to court she just throws a pile of sh!+ hoping something sticks. I already know she will loose before we even get in the court room because her hatred for me is stronger then her love for her own child. During the relocation trial she lost 3.5 years ago I sat there and listened to her bash me the entire time making me sound like an awful human being, yet she forgot to talk about how she can provide a good life and meet our sons needs... well she lost and will continue to loose.

@@mynameismelissa58 I have numerous recordings of her bashing me to our son on the phone but I cannot use these against her. I can only let her dig her own hole. We have another trial coming up and she has not followed the courts instructions to provide all evidence 30 days before trial. last week we had a trial set for me getting permission to get our sons passport because she refused to sign and then didn't even show up for court. The whole thing lasted 9 minutes and the Judge gave me an order with permission. She just wanted to waste 4 months of my time is all. This will hopefully all catch up to her at some point soon.

It's great when they dig their own graves. But on the flip side, too bad for the kids, who have to grow up with someone like that.

You will see the evil side of women when it's about child custody and the father wanting something. Not sure why they get so evil.

Everything you say has to revolve around the best interests of the child....even when she makes false allegations of DV, you say it's not good for a child to be raised by someone who makes false accusations. It's all about the kids.

How can you word this comment in court? My brothers x-is making false accusations and statements and is trying to take his daughter. He is a good and day. His ex-is evening trying to say -he doesn’t have enough time to spend with her because he work over time. He works only 5 hours a week extra to be able to provide!

@@vmeza2331213 Without knowing the details of your brother's case and life.... For the false allegations, 1st he should quote exactly what the mother said... Whether she said it in an email or verbally or in a court petition. Quote it exactly in front of the judge. And then you say those statements are false. And then you tell the judge the actual facts. You have to be detailed, precise, and exact.... So that an uninformed judge can understand the difference between truth and lies. And evidence helps to backup his story. As for working overtime and being available to raise his daughter.... He's ultimately trying to demonstrate that he's available to parent the child, when the child is not in school. So he wants to demonstrate how much time during the week his job takes versus the time he is available to raise the child. It is often, but not always, better to have a parent raise the child versus a babysitter. Maybe his overtime hours are incurred while the child is with the mother. Maybe overtime is voluntary and not required...so it's not something that's guaranteed to pull him away from the child. And when he's working who's taking care of the child? Is it grandma or an aunt that's in the home with the child? Just some thoughts off the top of my head...

my problem is the kids don’t want to even see me for supervised visits ‘because of what Da did to us “ i never did anything but their mother took them 9 months ago and got temp non-prejudiced custody. she’s been alienating the kids from me and i’m in the middle of psyche eval. i fear that the Court is going to give the kids what they want - and the don’t want to be with me. this was after i put their mom through grad school and dedicated her dissertation to me as holding our lives together and being her touchstone. it’s just so crazy and when i try to get a neutral perspective i can see how for an indifferent judge it makes sense for her to take the kids and make me an indentured servant.

Let the fears of what you don't know, GO! If you know you're a loving dad, and want the best for your babies, take into consideration the same tools here, that you would use for a judge, 3 main points, plan 3 things you want to talk about and don't let emotions drive the situation. My ex (male) did the same thing... my child cried when I picked him up, kicking and screaming that he didn't want to go. I can only imagine the things being said to him at his age, that didn't make sense. It's so scary. I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I used to say, "hey, baby, I see you're so sad". And ask 1 question, "is there something I can do to help you feel better? It went on and on and I eventually would let him know that he can cry with me. Often, these kids can't show emotions with the difficult parent. So when they had the opportunity to be emotional, it was okay only if it were at the protective parents stake. It's quite nasty and I hope in time everything comes to fruition, and you all build a solid relationship on good communication. Put the phone down with your kids, do what they want. Watch them, observe, and embrace being their parent. They are emotional beings who need to find themselves in order to recognize order. Be consistent, and continue to nourish with love and support. Do not ever fault them for being gaslit by the abuser. Xoxox

what happens if the mediation and agreement were signed off an the official "contract" and there are more court dates that are taking place? how would the court setting look? How would you present the next court date? (there was no face to face with the judge).

You should say " child support is voluntary " and I'm gonna fire my lawyer because they are officers of the court

The reality is, child support isn't voluntary. So, that's not really going to help you in front of the judge.
