I would agree with you, but as you can see the narrative that all these students are going with is that the entire thing of trump was against "people of color" which is nonsense. If he was he did a really poor job at it, as he implemented a ton of funding for HBCU's, was always trying to get all people employed, etc.. So if anyone is having an issue it is them being stuck on that the hat is related to hate, which it never has been except in their minds.

The problem is that most universities are no longer teaching our children facts, critical thinking, and problem solving skills but are INDOCTRINATING them to a far left liberal ideology that exalts how people FEEL over logic. In this radical ideology, facts, logic and evidence no longer matter, only how one sees and feels about themselves. This is exemplified by the whole "live YOUR truth" nonsense that basically makes each person the God of their world and ONLY THEIR feelings (not yours) matter and objective, scientifically proven truth is a "social construct." From what I have seen of this particular PSU professor, at least he is TRYING to get students to think for themselves rather than swallow the cultural and media driven false narratives.

Because people have become less self reliant as technology fills their idle minds with less useful ideas. Fewer people exercise their ability to actually observe and comprehend events and information. That which you do not exercise will atrophy. As generations are fed interpretations over being compelled to comprehend for themselves ,the population is being programmed to behave as desired by the designs of those indoctrinating them. Mass multimedia and academia have become fantastic tools from which to program people and then exploit the weakness of the emotional confusion that is incited by their frustrated ignorance. Governance through the exploitation of social contagions ,the people subscribe to a psychosis that justifies their lack of comprehension. Secured by their own self importance and self loathing. A depression that is sadly narcissistic.

She inadvertently proved the point the professor was making and made a fool of herself (and the students that applauded) in the process. After a full ten minutes of explanation about why you can’t just focus on superficial things, her response is essentially, “but the hat!” 🤦‍♂️

Its a fair question. In fact, the idea of making the country great seems worthy and aspirational. But take a closer look. Trump has always been a genius marketer. He was never interested in public service. He's a grifter, and entertainer, a branding expert. When it came to running for President, he recognized the power and esteem of Reagan's original slogan. However, unlike Reagan Trump's own belief-sets had NOTHING to do with actually making the country great or supporting the constitution. It had to do with amassing personal power. He took the Make America Great slogan...added the word 'Again' set out to use it like a Trojan horse to sneak back into the country's consciousness to play upon the hopes and dreams of millions of conservatives. And unlike Reagan, Trump boldly used this slogan as an excuse for people to point fingers...first: at selected minority groups as a way to dangerously channel our deepest fears and anger. Then, after that he used the slogan to point fingers at one another! No politician in history had ever made such blatantly racist statements as a way to launch their campaign like Trump when he attacked Mexicans by calling most of them 'rapists and murderers'. It was a breathtaking move that signaled a new era and tone for politics. In one fell swoop, Trump had given millions of people permission to hate and despise..to feed off their anger all while hiding behind the nostalgic and sacred slogan: Make America Great Again! This is why when Trump says it, its a problem.

Trump's team has managed to spin the former president’s legal woes into campaign-strategy gold. Its less about winning or losing (which in fact he does quite often). An analysis by the Associated Press found that over 30 of the lawsuits brought by Trump’s campaign and allies were rejected or dropped out of the roughly 50 filed in the wake of the 2020 presidential election. Its really more abut the PR power that he leverages in campaigning as the 'lone warrior' up against 'the deep state'...This made-up narrative is an effective ploy to amass millions in donations and public sympathy. Its a great story and Trump, if he's anything at all ...is an amazing storyteller and marketer.

Chanting man had only one path up the stairs... and the lad happened to be in his way? See here in the US we have a way of handling that. Its called asking for permission to pass through another's personal space. Usually something like "pardon me" or "mind if I sneak past you here?" Its simple, effective, considered good etiquette and VERY common. So chanting man for some reason feels entitled to not follow social norms? He feels that the lad should read his mind? Silly. Very silly.

Nailed it. We are often fed information without any background; like protests where it appears to be hundreds when in fact there are 20 or so. The photo takes on a life based on one's own perspective but when the truth is revealed, we often stand by our incorrect perception because to admit error is almost as bad as the error perceived.
