Great video again! I have found that keeping table bins out and ready at the beginning of class causes some squirmy kids to keep touching supplies. Instead, I have “materials managers” bring them to tables when work time starts.

Hello!! I'm a first year art teacher. What kind of art choices/activities do you give to the students on the ketchup and pickle day? I'm assuming that if students have unfinished projects that you don't display their art in the hallways with the rest of the class. Does that make them sad? Do you find that students actually make an effort to finish incomplete work while the rest of their friends are having fun with the "pickles"? Also, if they have to finish artwork and it's a messier medium, do you find it difficult to keep an eye on those students that are catching up on their work while the rest of the students are choosing their art activities?
