I like the lack of a mini map. it makes you actually use your surroundings in the world. also the duce had blinkers on the rear that would light up in the direction you needed to go. also you never needed to jump. you're mostly running around fighting demons or driving in the duce.

This game was my childhood, I remember playing nonstop after school. I remember playing with friends in the multiplayer. I really hope a Sequel does come out. I always recommend this game to all my Metalhead friends. If anyone wants to play on Xbox 360 let me know.

Really good game. I love replaying it every now and then. Its underrated man also the landscape, the details, the script it really is a world of art.

This game is on xbox gamepass currently or at least was. I really hope it gets a sequel though even now this game is pretty good

I just finished the game on Steam and I'm glad there's somebody talking about it, even if it's a video from 2 years ago. I just care for more story content of the game. The voice acting was so great. As for gameplay they need to make enemies less spongy, make the battlefield easier to read, show solo cooldowns outside the wheel, a minimap, make Eddie jump and chop enemies in half, sidequests that involve main characters and, of course, more Ophelia x Eddie.

Brutal Legend was one of those games that always stuck in the back of my mind ever since my childhood. I was (and still am) a fan of metal, yet I never got around to playing the game until recently. It's definitely a product of its time gameplay & graphics-wise, but it's a fun time all around.

I loved this game when it came out. I just found it in a used game shop for five dollars today and had to get it. Loveing playing it again.

A criminally underrated game. The first playthrough is weird cuz it throws a lot at you out of nowhere and it doesn't explain much well. The second playthrough, where you know what to do (and how to do it better), is much more enjoyable and really awesome.

I remember when I was younger, maybe 6 or 7.. I would always sneak down into the basement and try to play this on my brothers ps3, but being so young I never really understood how to do most of the stuff in it, but now that im older I have been searching trying to find a copy of this just to reminisce and actually play the game haha

I just finished playing the game because I happen to have it on my GOG account. Didn't know at all what to expect and it was just wonderful! It reminded me of the time when I was in secondary schoo. and highschool when I was much into heavy metal. I loved the most the action adventure part of the game, not so RTS but nevertheles it turned out great.

This is still to this day my favorite game, I’m playing it right now on my 360, it’s an absolute masterpiece, from the scenery to the battles and story it was way ahead of its time

From an objective viewpoint, this game had a lot of glaring flaws but goddamn was it a ton of fun to play.

Fr we need a second game set in this universe, perhaps have the story focus on the black tears rebelion era or have the game set during the Age of Titans maybe ? But if not if feel like we should at least get a remaster or something...

Now that Double Fine is owned by Microsoft, I can see a sequel and/or remake happening. With the game now being on Game Pass, there should be increased interest in it.

honestly the likely reason we dont even have a remaster is due to the licensing costs involved in the games soundtrack, and even the gituar riffs for abilities...

I randomly remembered this game recently, got it on sale on Steam, and I'm finally playing it myself for the first time. I absolutely love it, and I hope it gets some attention some day, maybe even a sequel. With Psychonauts 2 being as good and successful as it is, I can still hope.

Psychonauts 2 just recently got released and currently doing very well. I really want to see this game get a sequel and I know it would do well if the developers addressed some of the weaker elements of the original while pumping up the things that made it great. Not to mention there is a plethora of great heavy metal songs and references out there that they could use. Shame that Lemmy wouldn't get to reprise his role as the Kill Master and I have no clue if Ozzy would come back, but there's still a lot of potential in Brutal Legend 2.

Juat bought the game during Summer Sale and even finished it within 25 hours on Brütal difficulty including side quests, I think this is one of my favorite games of all time behind Uncharted, like hack and slash? Rock and metal music? Real time stratergy? Metal actors and recognized voice actors? Combined into one game? That’s unheard of!

I fucking loved this game as a kid. Even today i still play from time to time. Its still one of my favourite games today. Not a lot of people seem to like the RTS and Hack 'n' Slash hybridisation but i love it! Its the only game that merges the two genres and as a result became something truely unique. Brutal legend is a real diamond in the rough and a one of a kind experience. If you havent played the game, treat yourself.

Just bought the game today on Steam and installed it on my work laptop, in my opinion it still looks amazing having aged very well. This is together with Monkey Island-series one of my favourite games ever.

I just found the ps3 version for a dollar at my local thrift store. Never got around to playing this back in the day but I'm looking forward to trying it. I'm a massive tenacious D fan so I'm sure im gonna love this

This is my favourite game of all time and developed my taste in heavy metal. I played it when I was younger but I rebought it for like $2 on pc last year and I still play it almost every month. You can see the passion and artistry put into this game and I'm still finding small bits about the game I never saw before. If only people saw through the RTS, it probably could have been game of the year. All I know is the second a sequel is announced I'm preordering the fuck out of it 😆

This game BURNED itself into my mind after I watched the first gameplay vid as a kid in middle school over a decade ago. I still hold hope about getting a sequel to this which was renewed when psychonauts finally got their official sequel released

I played this game so much when I was younger and I'd love a sequel. Add in more Metal icons in voice roles. Bobby Blitz, Doro Pesch and Attila Dorn being top on my personal list.

I love the hell out of this game the only downside was so short and sucked you cant replay the missions easily. I really want to see other genres of music in a sequel like Country, Rap, Jazz, and such to act as the other factions.

In regards to a lack of a minimap, I felt it wasn't needed. The game world isn't that massive, and the landmarks, along with the biomes give you a good sense of awareness of where you are in the world. In a larger world map where the biomes all look the same, I can see a good use for a minimap, but with Brutal Legend, I never once got lost enough to feel I needed to look at the map.

I enjoyed the hell out of this game years ago until it became a tower defense/rts game. Didn't bother to finish it after that gameplay became apparent. Nonetheless, it was funny and charming. I enjoyed Jack Black's presence as well as the others.

I bought this on steam sale recently because I craved a SP experience. I dont think this game is for everyone, especially in todays market. As for me, I loved every second of it.
