This video was not easy for me to make. I feel responsible for Sam, and that I let him down. A few weeks ago Sam escaped out our front door. It happened so quickly it’s hard to explain everything that was going through our minds. It could be that we find Sam soon, or we may never see him again. I’ve reached out to our Nextdoor neighborhood group, local Facebook groups, tons of bird and wildlife rescues in our county, our avian vet, and many others. We are in our rainy season so posting flyers on telephone poles would be completely pointless as they’d be drenched and destroyed. We’ve been out for days and weeks searching without any hopeful news. It’s a very sad time for us right now.
