I remember opening a gaming magazine back in the 90s and was an article about Super SF2. The article was about the new fighters , their history and their movelist. Boy when I got to Cammy's section in the article, I was like "Oh Wow! She's so pretty!" I tore the page where it had Cammy in it and pasted it in one of my dairies I used to have.

It's all mixed feelings. Like talking from that OG point of view, it's really cool to have a change, a big one at that. And also, the new outfit was meant to fit in the storyline so I completely see how that goes. Sf has always been a ride after all. And the silhouette part is absolutely perfect. I really love the fact that they put work and thought into that. As I said, still mixed feelings, but it's mostly positive. Good to hear the thoughts of another old sf player here.

Capcom have a leak some time ago and there was this report when they were saying about going woke to fit into "modern audience" which means oversensitive political correct social justice warriors. The Blue Mary comparison is very likely on purpose, as both her and Cammy share a lot of similar moves, with a few of Mary's moves being analogues of Cammy's but with a throw you can rekka at the end.

I personally prefer the classic design as leotard fan, but this new design can still work with appealing to kids without having to worry about showing too much skin. This new, fresh design is cool and is just what Cammy needed in my opinion.

Remember that Cammy's personality, moveset, and name is based on Gally (Battle Angel Alita). So in addition to Android 18 and Blue Mary, her look now more closely reflects Gally's as well.

Hahahahahah! I made the Blue Marie comparison as well :D but I like Marie more then new Cammie. New Cammie still looking great though, if abit more on the "resting bytch face" side. When I first saw the leak designs I actually disliked so bad, she only looked like android 18 and Blue Mary to me and I really didn't like they took her iconic leotard and pig tails....but thanks to the insane amount of fan art I started to like it a bit more, but still concern....then the trailers start dropping, I have the same reaction to Guile and Ken with the leaks , hated all 3 redesigns, but when I saw Guile in motion I was....damn he look kinda badass.....then Ken trailer shows up and also give me positive vibes and that convince me to give Capcom the benefit of the doubt....all until the Cammy trailer (cheeky bastards knew they have a winner, they let Cammy close the reveals)....and say that this trailer shatter every doubt I had is an understanding, love this new costume now.....and besides her classic Delta Red will be available (hope Killer Bee can comeback as well), but I really think I will be using her new costume, I really love how it looks in motion, great job by Capcom indeed.
