Katie I been gluten free baking for a few years now and I have to recommend Bob red mills gluten free flour 1 to 1, it comes out alot more lighter than coconut and other gf flours, it will never taste exactly the same, but this brings it close, some of the baking I find to be good are flourless brownies, soo good! Others are oatmeal cookies gluten free homemade, rice crispy squares and a dessert Calle Nanaimo bars, a Canadian classic made with the base of gluten free Graham crackers, it calls for birds custard powder, which oddly has only a trace of possible milk powder, but it never hurt my tummy, I could go on for ages about this, but keep trying things out, you will find things you will love ♡ all the best!

:( wisdom tooth pain sucks I had mine taken out like a month ago because it was bothering me for years I would get a sore swollen thoat from it and everything.

Ive had to do low fodmap a few times and have some tips for anyone trying gluten free baking. I use completely normal recipes just switching regular flour for dove gluten free flour and then I add a few tablespoons of olive oil as increasing the oil/fat helps with the crumbly rubbish texture. Pizza this way is particularly good!

Hi Kate Been watching your helpful vlogs on this and just wondering what you are doing now and if you still follow the York Test recommendations and Fodmap eating? Plus how do you manage eating out or at friends and family's homes. I'm just starting out and I'm confused about what to eat. It seems you can't just buy 'ham' because there's 'ham' and 'ham'.

I’ve found doves farm products to work best for baking gluten free especially their self raising flour!

Maybe you’ll know this already, but after having a terrible reaction to onions/cooked onions I now eat leeks or spring onions instead and no reaction. So if you need onions in recipes that might be useful to try :) the leafy parts still have onion-y flavour but no lactase that causes digestive probs :)

The hotel in work in, in Northern Ireland has scuffins on the breakfast menu lol its a savory muffin/scone things they are nice but I prefer a muffin or a scone the normal way 😂

Thank you for the low fodmap ideas 💕 I found that my pepperoni is high fodmap, so may be best to double check your pepperoni if you haven't already 🥰

This is the Sainsbury's version which is the only Low FODMAP one available :) I've done lots of research! x

There's no enough sweet good recipes for foodmap but the one I really love and always helps me when I'm craving sweetness it's a gluten free banana bread, it's basically the same but you add gluten free flour and it's taste the same, honestly try it and tell me 💖

Ohh sounds great! I guess the only problem would be the amount of banana as you can only have very ripe banana on fodmap and I find the older and darker, the sweeter the bread is! x

Lots of hard cheese is lactose free 😊 just the soft cheese you have to be careful with

Lots of the hard lactose free cheese isn't Low FODMAP I think because of added ingredients but you can still have small safe amounts of cheddar/hard cheese! But yes this cream cheese is fine and tastes really good!

It's a shame the gluten free baking didn't work out. I do quite a bit of free from baking and it can be tricky. Worth checking out The Loopy Whisk. She's a scientist and does some great gluten free/free from/vegan baking. Her recipes never fail me ☺️

I eat lentil pasta quite often even though I'm not gluten free - it's just really tasty! Def worth a try.

You can't eat lentils or peas on Low FODMAP I don't think! And I definitely have an intolerance to chickpeas, so I've been sticking with buckwheat or general gluten free pasta! x
