COLD OATS RECIPE:
3/4 cup quick oats (I use these because they soak up the milk the fastest)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1/2-3/4 cup plant milk (enough to cover the oats)
fresh fruit of your liking to top!

Pasta looked delish! Wondering where you got the bowls with lids that you kept the rice and beans in? I am in St Catharines and found a set at Sams Club in Buffalo a while back for myself but my stepmom wants a set and now I can’t find them....thanks!!!

oats really do help my pregnant belly, i noticed that a few weeks ago I wasn't feeling great and then I started back up on my oats and i feel great.! and being VEGAN on this last pregnancy is awesome. more energy, and my baby craves fresh foods! it's amazing. i wish I was vegan 5 years ago with my 1st and 2nd child but this is great! love the simple recipes. sometimes it can seem complicated but simple food are the best. ❤ much love maddie!!!!

Yes, agreed! 38 weeks pregnant and vegan and every other pregnant lady around me feels awful but I still have so much energy and have had absolutely no swelling or any of those “icky” pregnancy symptoms. Very grateful!

mandii babii I’m determined to do this now. I’m 19 weeks pregnant and I’m tired of feeling terrible. When I get off meat, I feel so much better and at the very least I’m hoping maybe it’ll help my indigestion. 😖 I’m having my first and the pregnancy part has not been great so far.

I usually put some lemon juice in that cauli or potato based sauce. It lifts the flavour when it needs a little somethin-somethin. 💚✌

Normally, I'm not really the person who comments a video but I just wanted to tell you that you are so inspiring. The day I found your channel I watched like almost all of your videos and that was the day i considered for the first time to become vegan :) I'm not fully vegan yet but it's just a question of time.. I live in germany and we have so many kinds of bread which is absolutely crazy :D so it would be great if you made some kind of bread- spread- recipes :) I only have like Guacamole, hummus and some tomato-basil-breadspread, but i'd like to have some new ideas :) Lots of love from germany

This type of video is extremely helpful Maddie. I feel I fall apart (diet wise) when I’m pressed for time and hungry. Shoving half a container of hummus in my pie hole might be filling and vegan but it packs a punch calorie wise. So these ideas are excellent in rethinking my whole strategy. I’m off to make a batch of brown rice and beans!

As someone who needs to lose weight, I’ve been diagnosed with a fatty liver, I’m fearful of all the carbs! But you’re so slim eating this way. I know plant based whole food is the way to go!

My 1 year results (47 year old male). I ate no chickpeas, green peas, corn, rice, potatoes or other high glycemic veggies, other than every great once in a while. I almost totally avoided sweeter veggies (tomatoes, carrots, corn). I had NO oils (nope, no coconut or avocado or olive oil). I did eat (almost same every day) salads and juices (from my Vitamix) spinach, kale, broccoli, lettuce, green bell peppers, spring mix, radishes, cucumbers, avocado, cabbage, nutritional yeast, raw organic apple cider vinegar, raw organic lemon juice, tiny bit balsamic vinegar, ginger, garlic, black pepper, cumin, turmeric, cayenne and other spices. In my salads, I sparingly put walnuts, or pecans, flax or chia, hemp seeds. I supplement with various vitamins and minerals, as well as ad trace minerals into my distilled water. I drink water with ginger, lemon, mint and acv in the a.m. and at night. I seperate my drinking from eating so I don’t water down my stomach acid, preventing bloating, gas, etc. I sometimes took a 30-40 minute walk. No working out. I lost: 50 lbs, chronic gout and chronic sinusitis, neuropathy, diabetes, gird, ulcers, high blood pressure (went from 211/111 to sometimes 115/75 now), aches and pains in joints as well as phantom pains and restless legs. My skin, teeth, hair and nails also look AWESOME! I sleep DEEP! I am full of energy and my brain is as if I’m on NZT. Just thought I’d share. Hope this helps someone!

I just made the cauliflower sauce and it was actually really good, I just put a little extra almond milk so it was a bit runny but still good. I am so full now. And I made it in less than 30 minutes I had to get to class 👌🏼

Maddie, With all of the vegetable scraps you create, you can make your own vegetable broth that tastes WAY better than the stuff you get in the store. Plus you’re using your own scraps so it is more eco friendly. We keep our scraps from the week in a bag or container in the freezer. Each week, we make vegetable broth often just pulling from the freezer bag. We have twin 4-year-olds and we think it is easy and love to do it. I’d love to see you give it a try! ❤️ Tori

I don't even wait for my oats to soak. I don't like the texture of soft oats. I eat it right away. In the winter I warm and flavor the milk then pour it right over the oats and eat them b4 they get too soft. I like it way better that way!

Maple flakes normally aren't dehydrated. It's just cooked maple syrup. It firms up when you let it chill and you can make flakes out of it. You can make tons of things if you cook maple syrup: Taffy, maple butter, maple fudge, or maple flakes like you used.

Have you tried throwing a damp paper towel over rice, then microwaving it? It's an easy way to reheat rice without it drying up or sticking to your pan. It's every Chinese mom's secret!

I'm just wandering if you do eat that quantity of food everyday? I think it's a lot but you are super skinny, so... How do you do it?? Please! Im working out everyday and eat 3 times a day but less food than you and haven't loose a single pound... Helpppp
