I'd imagine that if the prophecy is a genuine prophecy, it would find a way to come true. It could be a few years later, James, Lily and little Harry are in Diagon Alley for a shopping trip when Voldemort and the Death Eaters show up for an attack. Harry says something to annoy Voldemort, who's about to kill the brat, when Lily steps between them, saying, "Kill me instead." Voldemort kills her and then tries to kill Harry anyway, thus creating the "Boy Who Lived." Of course, the SCB would probably insist that James gets killed too, following the stations of canon.

I had an interesting thought while rereading the Order of the Phoenix, what if Harry saw a more important memory in the pensive before his lesson with Snape? Like what if Harry saw how Snape overheard the prophecy, set Voldemort on his parents, regretted it, and started working for Dumbledore?

Whose memory would it be? Dumbledore did not collect this memory to be seen in Pensieve, nor did Snape. Also in the Legllimens, he sees Snape's 'Worst Memories", which necessarily are "Breaking or Friendship" and not "Lily's Death", coz in books, he only heard of Lily's death, never really saw her corpse.

Agree and Disagree, The way to destroy a horcrux is based on the container it is in. Voldemort obviously kills the Horcrux in Harry with Avada Kadavra, but I do think it wouldn't work if the container is not alive (sword in this case)

Absolutely LOVED the ending with Snape having the full exposing of his character and loyalties to everyone and not just Harry! A true epic, heroic moment for him. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he kinda would’ve “deserved” that in the main story, it was brilliant as it was just between him and Harry and his friends silently witnessing it, and I would not change it. And I really liked Harry and Snape never having a real closure in the main story, the closure kind of happened only in Harry’s mind and not between them, and it was perfect because it was so hauntingly bittersweet. But for this version of the story the “in your face, Voldy” ending for him worked so well! 😊 Loved to see a very different arc for Snape, and you made it work by keeping him as a grey character in everyone’s eyes until the very end. Versus the big twist of him killing Dumbledore and becoming a traitor in the eyes of his friends and colleagues, and basically everyone who is not a death eater. In that scenario the epic ending would have just been confusing: like is this some kind of a trick or has he been a good guy this whole time or what? Also love it that you stated that Snape’s love for Lily is more of an obsession than real love. Not that it was like completely sick of nature, but it isn’t fully healthy either. He cares more for him wanting to have Lily as his own than Lily being happy, and that’s not what real love looks like. He isn’t dangerously possessive either, he isn’t planning to destroy Lily’s happiness and could not have known the prophecy was about the Potters, and was genuinely shocked when he found out. But the truth is he could’ve probably done more to protect them. He was happy to accept the solution where Voldemort only saves Lily and kills her husband and baby, and that says a lot about him. In the other hand, by all we know he seems to leave Lily alone when she marries James and kind of accepts his loss and respects Lily’s decision, which a really sickly possessive man would not do. But it’s still more of an obsession than love in my opinion. Not the sickest kind of “be mine or be dead” obsession, but still an obsession.

This theory has made me question what makes someone the “True Owner” of a Deathly Hallow, clearly the in canon explanation we get for how Harry becomes the master of the Elder Wand isnt great, physically taking a completely different wand from Malfoy. But what if Harry was the master of the elder wand even before this? What if Harry had died as a child, and the cloak was still in possession of Dumbledore? Would Dumbledore now become the true owner of the cloak or would it never have a true owner again since Ignotus’s line wouldve died with Harry? My theory here would be able to explain this. Since all the Deathly Hallows have the same creation myth, I’d like to think that they all follow the same rules. My theory here goes the FIRST person to PHYSICALLY touch a Hallow upon the previous owners death would become the “True Owner”. The Cloak has an additional rule here about being passed down from son to father. But in the case there is no son to pass it down to, like if Harry had died as a baby, Dumbledore who was in possession of the cloak wouldve become the true owner of it. The physical touch rule for the Hallows also can explain how Harry became the master of the Elder Wand. Upon the death of Dumbledore, the Elder Wand falls out of the Astronomy tower along with Dumbledores body, and although maybe not as clear in the book, the movie here actually makes a point of showing Harry physically touching the elder wand and placing it on Dumbledores chest. My theory suggests that it was at THIS moment Harry became the master of the elder wand since he was the first person to touch the wand after dumbledores death. Similarly with the Stone, Harry was the “True Owner” from the point he obtained it from the snitch in the forest up until he had ‘died’ by Voldemorts hand, now the next person who finds and picks up the stone will be the master of it until their death. I also think being the master of the stone would allow you to see the veil projections even when not physically touching it, which seems to be confirmed when Harry drops the stone but still walks to his death with his loved ones around him. If you stuck around this long, you’re probably a very cool person!

Well we see in the story of the 3 brothers that the cloak is passed down by its original owner so it makes sense the “true owner” is just whoever got the cloak passed down to them. We see the Wand passed after the defeat of its old master so it makes sense that the true owner of the wand was the person who “won” it. The stone is tricky though.

Even if Draco disarmed Dumbledore would the wand really have even considered him worthy? Even unarmed and a step from death, Dumbledore was a much more powerful wizard. This also makes me think Rita Skeeter was pretty accurate in regards to the outcome of Dumbledore vs Grindelwald in 1945, since Dumbledore was able to become the master of the Elder Wand without killing him, I believe Grindelwalds heart wasnt in it anymore and he lost owership of the wand. Not that the wand chose Dumbledore over Grindelwald, but Dumbledore was the very next person to possess the wand after the ‘loss’ of its previous owner.

Note: iirc, Harry himself put the diadem on a bust in vanilla HBP, to be able to find the HBP book after he found it. It used to be... on a velvet cushion I think?? but I remember the scene of harry grabbing the bust, putting a wig on it, and then the diadem on top. Unless this memory is a mandela effect...

Great video as always. Also I have a theory. Did Dean use a love potion on ginny. I think so because they hardly talked to each than their together. Also when we see dean and ginny snogging😱👎 they were at the 3 broomsticks where they ordered a drink, and when they kiss in the books after the quikiditch game against slytherin they kiss but in the first book Seamus says eat something Harry. The seekers need the most energy. Well that would mean all of the team would eat something, so I think Dean spiked a love potion into ginny, because even when Dean laughs at Harry for getting hit by bluder and ginny still likes Harry more than Dean she gets mad but they don’t break up. And he was abusive but she didn’t anyone but hermione

I especially like how Snape uses the sword to block Voldy's killing curse, all the while destroying the horcrux inside it (but without destroying the sword itself). And just after a badass line too!

I really liked this. I am still a bit confused how Avada Kedavra was able to destroy the sword horocrux though. I thought in another video it was explained that it only worked on Harry becuase he was a living thing that the spell functioned across, but it wouldn't destroy another horocrux because it would have no affect on an inaminate object. Although then it does remind me of another video talking about how in the battle at the ministry, Dumbledore animates the GOLDEN statues to help fight against Voledemort, and one Avada Kedavra just bounced off the wizard statue, while another hit and made the centaur statue explode... I'm just a bit confused in general. Still, this was a really fun series! Good job as usual!

What I imagine is that because the Sword only takes what makes it stronger it took the Avada Kedavra inside itself(Meaning the sword probably instantly kills things now) and because the Curse came in contact with a living thing(Voldemorts Soul) it killed the Living thing destroying the Horcrux.

Okay so I love this story but I'm left with one simple question. Did Harry and Fleur keep in touch and get together in the end? (Fleur doesn't get enough love and I feel like this could've been a good story to keep her as a running character)

I'm curious about that too. It'd be kinda cool if they did actually get together and there is a harry and fleur fanfic that shows really well how Harry & Fleur could work together.
