They weren't together, he just couldn't seem to bounce back. He would get a job and then get fired, get a new job, then get fired. He had a bad attitude She kept getting into fights with his bosses. He had burned bridges with all his friends and his mom. She ended up kicking him out after he slapped her for telling him that he needed to stop messing around and get his own place.
