Wow I really appreciate your honesty Nick, your videos have been really helping me with my anxiety.. I have suffered with severe anxiety and ocd for years and like you I cannot have the medications as it gives me all the side effects so I've had to go back to basics and learning how to self heal, this has been one of the steps on my journey. Many thanks 🙏

Good advice. Lots to think about. My choice would be to do qigong most of the time ! I vary the times when I do it and it seems to work for me. What I especially like is the way gigong helps even out my energy levels. And, so far, I have always felt better after doing qigong. I hope you're enjoying the hot spring.

Very useful. In the past few days I have seen very clearly that I have to try and do QiGong every day. If I don’t then subtle stresses build up and throw me off kilter. Thank you for showing me this beautiful way of living Nick💚

I think Qigong and other mindfulness practices is way better that medications for anxiety and stress because Qigong helps you release all that negative energy(emotions) while medication supresses them and as a result they became more and more stonger and that further disrupts connection between mind and body because there's an anxiety in your body and you numb yourself to not feel it

@@TheNickLoffree are you familiar with CBT(cognitive behavioural therapy)? It's another great tool for anxiety and stress because it helps you change your thought which changes your emotions. Better than meds

Super helpful information for everyone in every circumstance. The aspects you mentioned such as differences between TCM diet practices and modern trends such as intermittent fasting would be interesting for many people, as well as the TCM clock. Thank you for all you do to get Qigong out into the world Nick!

I think i cover meals in the video. As long as food has digested you are good to go. For directions, I would consult a feng shui book if that is of interest to you. I don’t think too hard about that aspect.

Nick, big thank you for this very useful video, much appreciated. I've a friend who has schizophrenia and is being hospitalized at the moment because she stopped taking her medicine. Could you advice me please as to what I could do to help her? She goes through the same pattern for the last few years and it is rather sad to see her like that.
@TheNickLoffree

Unfortunately this is one of the most common problems with schizophrenia. I think mostly because the meds have so many side effects. Might be worth looking into alternative therapies like cyproheptadine (check out Haidut’s work on this)
