The question you raise is a good one, and it deserves an answer. It is difficult to explain in only a few words, but I shall try. Men and women are different, and they view both relationships and sex differently. It is true that there is great variation between individual men and women, but I will be speaking in generalities. My comments will generally be true for the vast majority of men and women. For a woman, relationships are a natural part of her daily life. She is constantly aware of them, establishing them, taking care of them, managing them, and---if necessary---dissolving them. She does not have to "force herself" to perform these social "dances," they are part of her nature. A woman's relationship with her man sets the stage for her sexual intimacy. In the physical interaction of sex, a woman trusts her partner and expresses and strengthens her emotional bond to him. And should that special closeness she shares with him be shattered, the scar of it will remain upon her heart. Each time a woman takes the emotional risk of being sexually involved, and that risk results in loss, another piece of her heart goes numb. For men, the situation is reversed. It is in a man's nature to pursue sex. If there is a woman in his vicinity, his sexual drive takes notice. It is almost mechanical in nature, as if it has a mind of its own, and a man spends his life learning to control it and overcome it. Just as it can be highly inconvenient to begin sneezing uncontrollably, it can be highly inconvenient for a man's sexual impulses to begin yelling for attention. It is not surprising, therefore, that a man does not view sex itself as intimate, nor does he form emotional bonds through sex. Instead, a man does his emotional bonding with his woman through their relationship. Just as women are careful and selective about choosing a sexual partner, men are careful and selective about committing to a woman (i.e. getting married). The longer a man is in a relationship, the longer he and his partner interact and experience life together, the stronger is his bond to his partner. This is why men are especially devastated by the ending of a marriage of many years. Indeed, some men are never able to recover. Considering the above, it is easy to see how a "high body count" is detrimental to a woman, and multiple, traumatic relationships are detrimental to a man. They emotionally scar the person, making it increasingly difficult to bond with any new partner who might come along. In extreme cases, such an emotional blow is sufficient to literally kill the person. Most people instinctively know not to play with the hearts of others.

Studies and data show that couples who waited for marriage have a more successful and fulfilling marriage and sex life than those who slept around before settling down. There's a reason our grandparents had 10 children 😂. Instead of comparing each other to previous partners they would learn each other's desires and needs.

Ok, you clearly are a successful product of the Western demonizing campaign against China. I suppose it's no use in giving arguments to prove you wrong, but I'll just say that even if China, like any other country, is not perfect, the main reason for the West to paint a picture of China as a totalitarian state is simply because the country the last 3-4 decades has risen from a rather poor, underdeveloped country into one of the most prosperous, modern countries in the world. While at the same time, Europe and USA face bigger and bigger problems with violence, drugs, homelessness, immigration issues, not to mention all the crazy stuff that happens when it comes to modern "feminism", woke, racism accusations, gender topics and so on, the madness just seem to escalate into complete idiocy. While in China you find civilized, smart people, who are curious about new things, but still cherish their history, family values, traditions, who are respectful and with dignity. Of course there are rotten apples in the basket like everywhere, but in my around 3 years in interacting with (real) Chinese people, I have come across only two of these, the rest are all really lovely people, with much more integrity and moral than pity, ignorant you.
