From a malnourished orphan on the brink of death to a thriving loved child playing with her sister and getting into mischief just like she should be doing! She is an absolute miracle! I remember the video of you holding Izzy at the orphanage in China . And look at her now! . It’s because of YOU . Yes it’s a joint effort , your husband is wonderful and the rest of your children too who help out with Izzy . However , it’s always the mother who has the greatest impact on a child . That may have been my most favorite video on KZfaq ever!!! To see Izzy’s sweet face so at peace made me cry and to see how the bond between Mika and Izzy has grown is beautiful beyond words. Thank you so much for sharing them with us! I know social media can be a harsh place and I think it’s so brave to put yourself out there. I opened KZfaq to watch something while I did the dishes and my whole feed was just full of murder and violence and bad news. Then there was you and it was so refreshing. I so happily watched video after video and felt uplifted instead of brought down when I was done. Thank you 😊

This is AMAZING! Look how far she has come. Mika playing with her is the sweetest thing. Praise the Lord on this and your daughter doing God's work in Guatemala. Oh my goodness watching Izzy at her therapist walking made me cry. I am so happy for you. She has come so far. Love shows so much in her advances, as does all the hard work and sleepless nights tour whole family have put in over the years. Since she loves pushing buttons maybe her therapist can get her something like a speech box, it like talks words when you push buttons, I am sure they have some that are more tactile or auditory. Since she loves the fireplace so much have you thought of having a box room made for her sort of like a doll house or playhouse, do you remember they use to have those tablecloths where you could put on a table for children to play under, that look like a house? But as she is more tactile a solid one might be better, fill it with tactile surfaces much better than getting soot all over her. Now that is prices that can't be beat, I absolutely love how you dress Makayla and Izzy, reminds me how I sewed for and dressed my girls, I thought you had someone in your family who sews. It makes me wish i had some little girls to sew, knit and crochet for. How sweet of you to share. Hugs to Emerson and Grey son too
