The harshest sacking in Chelsea since Carlo Ancelotti in my opinion.

Wow ,as a Chelsea fan I want to say this is a massive disgrace from Todd boehly. It feels like they have just backstabbed Tuchel, the guy who won us the ucl, who stuck with us through rough times and Todd boehly decides to sack him. I feel embarrassed.Sacked after six games during a rebuild is a disgrace . I just hope Tuchel the best and he didn’t deserve this. He will be a Chelsea legend for me and one of the best managers we have ever had. This really scares me about Todd boehly cause he doesn’t seem to have any football knowledge cause he is only been in this sport for couple of months. Just hope we start doing well again.

Sacking Tuchel over a bad relationship with the owners seem so stupid and unacceptable.

We’re an embarrassment of a club, he won us the champions league, got us 3rd with sanctions, owners sacked all the backroom staff and was asked him to oversee transfers and these bratty players turned on him cos they lacked the creativity to break down defences.

The positive thing about this for Thomas Tuchel is that it is just an occupational hazard and he still has his football brains and experience intact with him. He will survive this and land another great job soon.

As a united fan I have to say its absolute shocking for Chelsea to make a decision to do that. Tuchel is a good manager

Considering that Chelsea has new owners and a lot of the staff already left, it feels like the owners want to start over completely and want to pick their manager, their staff, etc…

The prior management was perfect for Tuchel 's way of doing things. He thrived the first season when he was allowed to focus on coaching/winning and would have likely won the Premiere league last season after a very strong start to the season, had it not been for injuries to Kante, Reece James and Ben Chilwell, the heart of his attack and press. Added to that was Lukaku's debacle and misfiring, then came the challenges from sanctions to the team etc. He really was handed a bad hand on this one as he has been exceptional given the circumstances. The only issue was failing to improve his players the likes of which takes time. Too many expensive signings just were not producing enough for the team up front. Then came this season where he lost all of his defense which was the foundation of his success at Chelsea. He needed more time to remold this new team and to move out players that were not fulfilling their role in the club at the standards expected. This was a very savage move by the new owners. I can understand to an extent their rational and wanting to build more in line with their plan for the future but still cant help feeling it for Tuchel (He must have really pissed someone off in that meeting). Plus the man is dealing with a divorce. Rough year for him. I pray his strength and guidance.

Yeah you can tell they definitely argued. Tuchel has been everywhere mentally, his wife issues, the war in Europe, the change of owners, safety concerns (cause of Russian ties), and not to mention everything going on at Chelsea with the short staff and sanctions, and then He has to be a sporting director while planning training sessions and making time for his players and himself. Its just ridiculous to ask so much from someone who has already had a rough start. I think some vacation/time off/understanding/patience wouldve been better for Tuchel. Now im scared (as a Chelsea fan) that no one will want to work with Potter. Of course no one is an exaggeration but im sure some names will have issues with that. Nonetheless, this hurt like a break up hurts. I woke up after a long ass day to this sad story that reinforces the idea that my club is NOT having a good time 😭

I reckon there must have been more there we have been informed. Maybe Todd had a fall out with him which makes him sack him so quick. You don’t plan to bring in tuchels wanted players like fofana and aubamyang and then sack him. Something behind the scenes must have exploded to make Todd come to the conclusion of sacking.

I can assure you not even a single true Chelsea fan is in favour of this decision. Potter the replacement - we will come to know when he needs to manage ego of players as well. When being in top 4 is not achievement but requirement when you play 4-5 diff competition in a season then we will see if he is better than Tuchel

Lesson learnt. If differences between the owners and the coach/manager can't be resolved, one has to go. Unfortunately, it's Tuchel in this case. I'm sure top clubs are already preparing to offer him a job.

That was the worst decision I have seen for while. He deserved more time and patience.

This is the guy who stuck with us through all the sanctions when he could of easily left, said he’d drive a minibus to the games himself if he has too, won us a champions league, super cup, club World Cup, 2 finals last season only lost on penalties to Liverpool.. then you add the fact they’ve backed him with 250mil this summer, with the players signed tuchel clearly had a vision for how he wanted to play so to sack him 7 games into a rebuild is absolutely ridiculous! I don’t see who can come in and do a better job right now, I wish tuchel all the best and thank him as a chelsea fan for everything he done for my club 💙 KTBFFH!

It's been said by others but as a non Chelsea fan I can tell you right now it's a very very worrying sign of the type of person who owns your club when they make absolutely disgraceful decisions like this.

Ofcos I want him sacked..but not this early....I wanted to give him all this September. I think Boehly has leaned more to the administration at PSG, and Tuchel had problems with that administration. He loved how Chelsea work, but now new owner has changed everything. All the important heads had left except him. Some fans feared that , Boehly might want to have his own appointment,... Now it's true....

I saw a video where Tuchel openly admitted that he tries to "teach" the owners of Chelsea football club(his bosses)how to run a football club. Not surprised he's been fired. Anyone trying to teach the boss how to do his job definitely gets fired sooner or later, one way or another.

Nothing to do with getting along, but all with tasks. An owner has a long term focus and a trainer a short term focus. Thus, don't put strategy (supporting activity) in the hands of a coach (primary activity).

I knew it was coming. The new owners spent a lot of cash in the transfer window and were not going to tolerate a string of poor results even if we're only still rebuilding the team. As a Chelsea fan I'm happy because this is has shades of the Roman Abramovich era.

After the lack of progression this year and the abysmal start to this season , I'm confused as to why this sacking is deemed harsh. We hung on by a thread to the champions league spot last season and have to be thankful for Arsenals late collapse. The football hadn't been good enough for 7/8 months.

Football has been stale for a long time, long before the sanctions. Couple that with issues with new owners....I feel it was the right thing to do. Clearly, the players have also stopped playing for him. Change is a bit harsh but necessary

We don’t know what’s gone on between the board and TT. He is a “one goal and sit on it” man and that doesn’t make for comfortable watching. Let’s wait and see how it goes from here. TT will be more than compensated and will quickly find another club. The new owners have paid over £4bn for Chelsea and are entitled to get a manager who sees it along the same lines as them. Poor Thomas.. this is what happens to Ole in Man Utd last season. He lost few games lead to lost their career. These club need to have a long term plan. Not sure who’s Chelsea’s replacement coach after Thomas. Wish that coach all the best in Chelsea. I think Chelsea can look for someone like ETH or Pep. No hair, serious looking coach.

After spending all that money the results did not improve. The boss cannot sack himself, the players are too expensive, the manager is the only one that can- and to a large extent should- be held accountable.

I wish TT well ,he kept his manner and bearing ,kept the team ticking while the government decided what to do with us,while others within our team have simply downed tools because they never got a transfer and still play shockingly week after week,yes ziyech you included ,others mouth off about wanting to join others clubs but still there!!
