I laughed SO 😂HARD when you said, "Mind your business" with the hat part. 😅 my mother gave me an adjustable floppy hat that is black and has a black band with white polkadots that I love because the top is open and the top of my head doesn't get so hot. Plus, it's great with a high pony tail or bun. I've had it for years! Comfort is better than style.

I’ve been trying to thin out my zinnias and I took some down to my granddaughter and planted them in her flower pot I gave her and I need to get back out there and transfer a few around my bed so they won’t be crowded in there and yes that’s my happy place working in my flower bed ❤❤❤I so love it 🥰

Behind the fence where it slopes, then it's flat , then you have the garden area. On the slope area, I suggest planting flowers/mint and or ground cover to hold the dirt on the slope area . Also on the slope area where it washes the most when it rains I suggest putting a pipe all along the fence from one corner to the other corner, cut the pipe in half long ways to make into a gutter then have it go into a pipe and run that pipe down to the lowest part down by the chickens , and have the water go into an IBC tank to catch the water for watering your animals and the garden or just to run down into the woods. Now the flat area between the slope and the garden would be a great place to plant fruit trees ,fruit bushes and vine fruits on the outside of your garden fence. I hope y'all like my suggestions.. P.S. Mel mint spreads but mint also keeps the insects, spiders and mice away. I think it might also keep some snakes away cause I never saw a snake around where the mint was planted at a home that I use to do yard/flower gardening for an elderly couple.

MEL....I was at the nursery buying plants. I was looking for tomatoes and vegetables for the garden. I wanted rosemary to put around the yard for mosquito control. The head gardener there said lemon grass in pots around a patio works better. I bought some but going back for more. Broccoli, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, and many more uses. But I wanted to share that info. So glad Gary is better.❤❤❤

Rain, dry heat, humidity effects all baked goods. As long as the donuts don’t have icing. You can always toast/reheat them in your toaster oven/air fryer. Then add the icing on the next day. Nd yes there are preservatives in the stuff from some bakeries or store bought items.

It’s been a fun but brutal weekend for Gary and his back, he definitely needs the time to heal and the weather will give him that time. Take care guys. 🎉❤❤ function over fashion, I hear you Mel. I’m exactly the same. I’m not a fru fru kind of person. I would be very interested in your bottling/canning videos. Cooking too, are you into making sourdough bread Mel? If so I’d love to see how you do that. Thanks🎉 looking forward to your kitchen stuff ! ✌️👍👌

Now love your video blog today. I love it when you talk more of just an ordinary day. And it doesn't have to be so business, like with building when you laugh and talk about just natural occurrences in a day. But love all of your videos. Love to watch the kids I know they're gonna have a great wonderful summer. Can't wait to see what's in store. Can't wait to see you start working on the inside of the house. I know this probably still a long way out. Understand it totally.

Hey y'all! A thought on that tree- if you cut it down again, put tough brush weed killer on the fresh cuts, undiluted full strength. Let it soak in, and do that a couple of times. It should trave into the roots and kill it. I'm doing that to whatever I cut down. I have some very tough black jack oaks that try to resprout every year from the stump, so I cut those off and re-treat. I'm winning the war so far! I'm glad for the rain! It's God calling telling you to slow down and rest to come back even stronger. He's got your back and it will all get done. Blessings, Texas Deb ❤️

i did some research about doughnuts and it is how you make them and what you have in the doughnuts that makes them how they are. see it like this, a doughnut is basically bread whit glaze on. but becasue how you make them and what you have in them then it changes them into a doughnuts. what i am saying is that can you hold off whit a few steps and maybe contiune whit that steps a later time? like you do not need to glaze every doughnuts, you dont need to cook them all, just some off them and then you hold off whit cooking the other ones untill you want them. then there is the ingredience, like if you choose honey instead off suger how would that change how long it last? if you use baking soda or baking powder could that change how long it last? i mean there is endless off stuff you can change that could change the shell life off a doughnut, but it is up to you on what you want to do. hope this helps :)
