@@rustedratchetgarage6788 but why would you put a hemi in it? The engine is basically two 1JZ welded together. Back in the early 2000s a company called top secret made a 900hp supra with that engine and it was amazingly reliable for the power level at that time. They took it to highways around the world till the owner was arrested in Britain for street racing

Pretty cool coincidence. We have noticed that when that happens, it can help a lot with views. We did an E46 M3 video the same day Demuro released one about the E46 and E39 and it did about 50% better than ours were averaging at that point.

These have been available as 2nd hand imports in NZ for 20+ years. Have seen excellent condition ones as low as $2,000. The prices have changed in the last couple of years!

Some years ago I was privileged to get up close to a Nissan "Presidential" it was used by the President of Nissan North America. it had curtains, TV. a big V8 dual exhaust, loved that car. According to the driver they crushed the car after use broke my heart. This was in the 80's

A friend and I were talking about the Century when the new one was announced. Crazy how they went with a V12, granted the only Japanese V12, just smoothness and comfort at 310HP, when a good ol' 2J would've sufficed.

I was recently in Japan and came across one of these parked waiting for someone at dinner. It was simply breathtaking for its paint was buffed better than his example. Even my wife was like, "what is that? That isn't a taxi is it?" The fact she could tell the classy-ness of this car compared to the million similar black taxis out there says something. Also, I want one hahha.

Hey! I did a cross country road trip from chicago to monterey car week last year as well! Granted, mine was only in my 05 Saabaru 9-2x, but it was absolutely incredible. Sounds like his trip was as well!

I just got a ride in one last week it was amazing and I really enjoyed the tv that was an lcd but the console was made for a crt since it was a newer one but they never changed the parts.

It looks older 1992 design, more like '85 car design for the type of car that it is. Maybe it was produced from 86 till 93, as I don't know the 1st production year. After i posted the comment, I thought why not check, since I don't know, and Wikipedia shows 2 generations, the 1st being 1967 till 1997, and the 2nd 1997 till October 2016. This is crazy, how thy kept the major design for so long, and the 2nd is also really old looking for the production year. This is really cool car, I have heard about Century, but never cared to check it out.

Yet ANOTHER great story! Regular Car Reviews just did a review on one of these and stated that it is now his favorite car of all time, besting the Uber-designed Volkswagen Phaeton! That is no small feat, I'm sure! No doubt these will become more and more popular here in the States, especially considering its high car-to-dollar ratio! At least for now, anyway.

Love the commentary! Pro tip: Turn off audio gating when there's a lot of reverb. It's very jarring when the low dB sections cut out the reverb falloff. Could be a mic problem too, so just turn off auto limiter, for instance.

Once you see the immaculate paint job on the Century, every other car looks mediocre at best. It's simply breathtaking. ✨
