Last year we planted about 125 150 plants. This year we’ve got over 250, at least. Impossible to count. I did some in a greenstalk and put pots near the bottom of it and the runners came down and I tucked into the pots, then planted into the our 1 acre garden. The paper towels on the top is GREAT idea!

Love the garden updates! I have planted more than I ever have this year, mostly because I was gifted some potato and onion starts. Also, decided to try to use as many of my garden pots/ planters as I can. Finally getting my first little baby pepper as of this morning.

I live in your area and grow soft neck garlic very successfully! Last year I grew over 200 heads, Susanville and California. I saved closes and am now growing a big bed, they're doing great! I plant them in early November, I amend the soil with MIGardners bulb fertilizer when I plant them and again in the spring.
