Ok, so the time has finally come to go over what’s in my wallet for the fourth quarter of 2023! This is a very special what’s in my wallet video because, for the first time in a long time, my credit card setup is completely different.
The first card in my wallet is my new all-time favorite card, the US Bank Altitude Reserve card. This card has an annual fee of $400 and comes with a standard sign-up bonus of 50,000 bonus points after spending $4,500 in the first 90 days after account opening.
It earns 5X points back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Altitude Rewards center, 3X points back on mobile wallet spending on Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay, 3X points back on travel, and 1X points back on all other eligible purchases.
The benefits include a $325 travel and dining statement credit, primary auto rental collision damage waiver, a $100 TSA Precheck or Global Entry credit, and a complimentary Priority Pass Membership that gives you 8 free visits per year.
The second card in my wallet is the Bilt Mastercard. The Bilt Mastercard is a no annual fee credit card that earns 3X points back on dining, 2X points back on travel, 1X points back on rent, as well as 1X points back on all other purchases with the caveat that you must use this card 5 times each statement period to earn points.
This card also has a lot of great benefits, especially for a no annual fee card, including no foreign transaction fees, primary auto rental collision damage waiver, cell phone protection, and access to multiple airline and hotel transfer partners.
The third card in my wallet is the Chase Ink Cash, which is my sign-up bonus card for this quarter. I was able to get the Chase Ink Cash card when the 90k sign-up bonus offer was available.
This no annual fee business credit card gets you 5X points back at office supply stores and on internet, cable, and phone services, 2X points back on gas stations and restaurants, and 1X points back on everything else with those elevated categories both limited to the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases each account anniversary year.
The fourth card in my wallet is the Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards card, which will get me 5.25% back on online shopping for up to $2,500 in spend per quarter.
Finally, the fifth card in my wallet is the American Express Platinum card, which earns 5X Membership Rewards points on flights and 5X Membership Rewards points on hotels booked through Amex Travel, specifically the hotels in the Fine Hotels and Resorts Program.
