nanowar jump from style to style with whatever they're parodying, so its always worth checking out their other work. The unifying theme is they love metal, love italy, and mock both extensively, but with affection.

The used to be called just "Nanowar" as a parody of "Manowar" but, after another famous italian power metal band has changed their name from "Rapsody" to "rapsody of fire", they added "of steel" as a prank

As someone else wrote below, their original band name was just "Nanowar". They changed it to Nanowar of Steel after Italian power metal band Rhapsody changed their names to Rhapsody of Fire. But the pun in "Nanowar" is a reference to the word "nano", which means "dwarf" in Italian.

This song has made me really want to see Justin‘s reaction to Electric Callboy; We got the moves.

Funniest episode yet. Justin's intro started me off cracking up and it continued throughout.

For those who do not know: the part in Italian is a quote from Dante Alighieri's Inferno, when Pluto (God, or demon in this case, of greed) call Satan with the word "Papè Satan Aleppe", words that doesn't mean anything known, and Virgil told Dante not to be scared by this. While the crowd is chanting, they are asking to "move away a coffin, it's a diesel one, can we move it or not?", as someone just parked a car where it isn't allowed.

This kind of musical "joke" is funny for about 15 seconds - perfect for an ad for a fast food chain selling some kind of new blend of tastes like honey onion rings or something. "You didn't know metal and techno could blend so well! Now try or new honey onion rings!!!!!!!! Exclusively at Burger Hut!!!!!!!!! SIZZLETASTEIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" 4 minutes of this is an actual nightmare.

Tempo of Electronic Dance Music often fits with Metal and down-tuned guitars also slot well into the bass sound of EDM (that why metal and electronic fusions often work). Manowar was influenced by Ronnie James Dio-era Black Sabbath, hence the swords and sorcery look (this was big in the early '80s, Conan the Barbarian came out in '82). Nanowar of Steel is simply a joker metal band.

Yes, somewhat reminiscent of the satirical, fun-loving vibes of Lordi's Hard Rock Hallelujah, great fun. If I may I would suggest another Finnish metal band: Wintersun's Sons Of Winter And Stars (Live Rehearsals At Sonic Pump Studios). It's more on the serious side of metal (perhaps even seriously epic) even though the composer Jari is such a massive troll. It seems that quite a few have reacted to it so it would be fascinating to hear what you think. Killer drummer too. Ta for all these videos!

When I first saw this video, I was confused. It seems Disco is a bit more broad of a definition in Italy than it is in USA. Realizing it's a goof on Techno, I enjoyed it more. But, I am now longing for Bee Gees and A Taste of Honey inspired goofy Metal. Another genre mash-up song of theirs is Norwegian Reggaeton. Justin, please watch that video. This is a Vomitous stream of derivative, hi energy, nothingness blather, musically devoid, pointless candy romp, roleplay masturbation, chaos cloud of empty, desolate, day-glo derivative, mediocrity. Tempered by the fact that they're a novelty/homage group. They manage to make Metal and EDM slightly worse with one song somehow. I had a dream last night that we created a band with Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison with Andre Benjamin on drums, and it sounded somewhat like this. No more cheese before sleepy time, I suppose.

I get so happy when I see that lovely guitar with that fine fine sound! And you are lookin good! "Floor filler" is a good name for this. I thought Euro-pop, but it's not really. Floor filler is way better. It seems like y'all shop at the same clothing store? You might be able to find the mesh shirt there too that you admire? You could pull it off seriously. I had dejavu with Gary Oldham's vampire hair bumps on the dude with the purple wig. He needed to lick a switch blade for full effect. It's okay, but I already forgot what it sounded like, on to the next floor filler.

Just a quick question Justin. Could you maybe one day do a video retrospective of The Stone Roses? I especially love The Second Coming (bit controversial I know!) John Squire's guitar on that record is absolutely breathtaking in places and the songs are just great all the way through...anyway just a suggestion from an avid watcher of your channel.

They definitely sound good without autotune. But these guys effortlessly parody many different genres. If you like a classic metal ballad, try "And Then I Noticed That She Was a Gargoyle". "Uranus" is done in the style of Steel Panther and even has Michael Starr doing some vocals. One of my favorites of theirs is Valhalleluja with Angus McFife (now Angus McSIx) when he was still with Gloryhammer. It is one thing to sing a song with funny lyrics, but another to have this much talent to not only sing funny songs, but to do them so amazingly well.

Keep that last Justin groove going I seriously believe your onto a top slot with that one!
