I’m not sure if men have that same ick if women do that. When it comes to photos. If they are modest photos, I don’t mind them. They don’t draw as big of a red flag as who they follow. Because who they follow Can potentially have an impact on them. Maybe I’m too picky in that regard! Those are just my thoughts! I enjoy your content keep it up!

You can tell a lot about people by what kind of photos they choose to share. If it’s all of themselves either at the gym, in fashion poses, etc, it’s a red flag for me. Doesn’t matter who it is or what their gender is. They value outward appearance.

On the first point, Sadie got defensive/triggered and did make a good point or two, but imho Sam is generally right. My take: the “best” men in general, and “good” (and especially the “best”) Christian men want or need (and may not be aware they need) the following: A woman who is feminine, loving, respectful, sweet, selfless, gentle, supportive (which includes: encouraging, edifying, positive, and peaceful (ie- calm, constructive, not-argumentative, and not-overly-confrontational)), modest, confident but humble and not seeking approval/acceptance from men or strangers, forgiving, gracious, adoring, loyal, faithful, and devoted. How “selfies” come in: if a woman is single, then selfies are fine as long as they’re not “sexy” or provocative and instead demonstrate she has the positive qualities above; if she is in a relationship, it should be about “we not me”, and selfies can demonstrate that she is still on the market or is open to it (even if subconsciously as part of our Sin Nature which can manifest even in godly women as “hypergamy”); moreover, if her man is in her pics (correctly demonstrating to the world that she isn’t on the market or open to it), then scenes, poses, emphasis, and body language should demonstrate the positive qualities above, too. If, for example, the pics demonstrate mainly highlighting her, or her man’s devotion/adoration/etc. of her but not vice versa, then - again - the negative qualities are being demonstrated and the positives are not.

I admire you both. I wish I could have what you have, but I know for certain that I will never, indeed can not ever, have the marriage relationship that you both live in. You are most assuradly blessed.

One question I have is...how absolutely essential is a Christian woman's virginity/purity, to a Christian man? Like, if hypothetically one was a Christian girl looking for a Christian guy, but not a virgin, should she just give up and expect to be single b/c no good Christian man, realistically, is ever going to want her?
