That petulant child revels in breaking and ruining things for others. This is one of the obvious red flags where the narc begins to reveal their true selves and demonstrates how imbalanced they are. It is a crushing blow to realize the one you love so very much is capable of this and all the other rotten stuff and the whole encounter with them is just a facade. Remove yourself safely immediately. Remember, every hoover rejection, every step you make towards healing, self improvement and removing toxicity from your life is a HUGE win for you. It's so hard being played. I dont know if they ever get theirs.

After he left I noticed there was a huge gouge mark in my antique table. Also, he had brought into my house, a small sculpture of a dog that he had made. It reminded me of an ancient bronzed artifact, so I put it in a prominent place to enjoy each day. One day it was gone and I discovered he had ruined the sculpture by covering it in thick black paint. I could not understand why someone would do that? It upset me a lot. He once needed a decent place to stay, so I organized him to stay with a friend, and then later had to kiss that friendship goodbye, because she became a flying monkey, so I had to block her when I blocked him. When he offered to cook, it was always an awful disaster, like a disintegrated stew of chicken livers, even when he knew I could not stand chicken livers... Missing and broken stuff, like my black leggings he sequestered... bleach on towels, or he'd gift me things, then take them back for himself... then they would disappear completely. He had no respect for me or my possessions. I once bought two new cotton blankets. When I looked again he had put them on the sofa for the four dogs to lie on and the weaving was torn, the blankets were ruined. It all sounds like little things, petty things, but unnecessary things... after I bought a new house for myself as part of my exit plan, when he saw the house he later said, "When are you going to get a REAL house?" These things hurt.. And tarnish how you see things... After he left there was a dent in my new car door, which he had never declared to me, or offered to get fixed. Cash used to go missing from my purse... i think he took it to buy weed. He's out my life now and he is a true example of the aging narcissist. And he blames me for his most recent attempted suicide! He did not care for anyone, just used us. And so it goes on. He never knew the meaning of the word respect, could not love and really thought he did not have a selfish bone in his body. I had a very bad memory so when he would say nasty things i would forget and lufe would go on. In the end I thought I needed to record him and listen back, so it would sink in as to how he was treating me. This is how i discovered how bad the devaluation had become. He comoletely destroyed the little self esteem I had... he would forget things behind in guest houses so we had to turn around and drive back, my car, my petrol, my chaffeuring. It's all too unbelievable.

So very true , as I look back in life.. I can remember a lot, more than others.. usually right down to the last detail ! I’m tired of their lies. And bad behaviours.. hiding everything! The creep ran over 5 of my shrubs and pulled out 3 more ( and threatened me for half hour right in front of the sheriff). Cluster b family next door. I was freaking out for 2 weeks. Threatened to harm my horses. I had to get a self defense device and cameras real fast. That was $1k, then I had to get a property survey ( another $1k), and I am putting up a 6FOOT FENCE. so temporarily they broke my wallet. But I will get past this and ( because their house is NOW a nasty junkyard), my property value will maintain because of the fence.🐎 Thank God my nerves settled down. I was a real mess for 2 weeks straight. Thank you Andrew ❤

Yes, Andrew, for a start.... the narcissist stole my new clothes and broke my favorite office tool by throwing it across the room. The narcissist took inventory of my list of things most important to me (family and friends, animals, savings) and used it to attack and destroy me. Sick, sick, evil man.

Andrew, my narcissistic husband has tried to drain my finances and damaged my new car and didnt want to pay to get it fixed. He didnt care. They love controlling the relationship, your finances and anything else you own because they are "entitled". Its sickening.

Wow another lightbulb moment! I always thought I just left my things without thinking where I left them by mistake! I have an entire list of all my things that went missing. It makes sense because all the things lost were favorites! And when I look back at photos of myself I can’t believe the shabby clothes I had. Sometimes they appear to be men’s shirts. I was so trauma bonded I sincerely do not remember much from my life then. I finally am processing the miserable facts of my existence in the 14 years of my captivity. And that is what it was… captivity.

He got in because I cook and I cook very well and he took advantage of my talent and used it by asking me to cook keto food and I did. He then used that to get in stealth mode. I just now started cooking again and he is not eating it!

I do feel broken. Hes still trying to enter my life. But that is the only thing he cant see. He can see how my health,wealth mental heath, took shots and cant be repaired. He broke my relatinship with 2 of my kids,and is working on taking my third from me. He took the very few friends i had. But my mind still says no. There is no room in my life for him or people like him. I livee For myself now. Im trying to survive. Every single day is a strugglle. 😳

I wish I knew about narcissism 5 years ago. That's when I had my "needle in the haystack" moment. I couldn't figure out what was going on in my marriage and googled something and "gaslighting" came up. What an Aha moment that was for me as it described exactly what was happening in my marriage and that I was not going crazy! I divorced him in 2021 and love that I am living in peace, about 90% healed, a much better version of myself, and loving life! Being in a relationship with a narcissist is like that "frog in boiling water."

After a bout of reactive abuse, he would console me and I would confess that I was self sabotaging. It is also clear now because I was the chauffeur, the caretaker of the children and the house, etc. and I wanted to divorce him many times over over the years but he talked me out of it every time saying “I’m not going to throw this all away” then promptly at 27 years of marriage threw me away Because our youngest was off to college and he had a supply who was a 40-year-old married woman in his cult.

In every video is sth that resonates. Like in this here breaking things. Never in my life so many things broke. Cheap stuff like my favorite shell from SA, now my cheap but loved silverring is gone, new Tupperware and the MOST DISGUSTING thing I ever experienced: he somehow wasnt capable to wipe himself properly and used for that my incredible expensive linen frottee french bath towels and tossed them in a corner like in a hotel for me to pick it up. What a disgusting ANIMAL. I‘ve had it, took a photo and sent it to him. Reaction: zero. But now - swimming through zement - I‘m free. I will be stable again!!!

As well as the Phoenix analogy… it’s like forest fires, when entire forests burn to nothing but ashes… they grow back even bigger and better than before because the ashes from all the trees and plants enrich the soil with nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus… It’s the same when we are metaphorically burned to ashes.. those ashes are all we’re left with.. but they contain the most important lessons and knowledge of our lives.. and we grow back stronger and even better than before. Narcissists can break all the material items they want.. but they can’t break us! 😤 - and I think that is why they destroy material and physical items that belong to us.
