Satos Karate IS MYAGI DO KARATE. He learned From Myagi;s Dad..

Unfortunately the actors that played Sato and Yukie (Miyagi's old girlfriend) have passed away. RIP. But we will see Chozen and Kumiko. I think it would be a great reversal if Chozen is a family man now and lives a very similar life to Daniel. Kumiko will be a dancer and have a premier school in Okinawa where she teaches young girls. Mike Barnes should return in season 4 with a 3rd dojo (Bad-Boy Karate) and complicate things with Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do. He was never a true Cobra Kai.

What if Chozen has spent the last 30+ years in misery as Johnny did, regretting the loss of his honor to Daniel and vowing revenge? What if he does meet up with Daniel in Okinawa and challenges him to another fight to the death? As Miyagi once said..."in Okinawa, honor have no time limit".

I feel a great shocking moment would be if Daniel goes to Okinawa with Johnny, and they discover with the help of Sato’s nephew that, Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai Karate were once the same fighting style. With Mr. Miyagi’s family practicing its defensive side, while those who develop cobra kai studied its offense. And, for Daniel and Johnny to both find true balance they must reunite the two styles back together as one.

Would love to see Chozen return, especially redeemed. To me he has always been the most lethal opponent Daniel faced.

At this point , I wouldn’t like to see Daniel find another love interest because Daniel and Amanda just have too much chemistry together and including the 2 kids. But they’ve established a great chemistry even if Ali were to come back. I’d really love to see some flash backs of Johnny and Ali , I think that would be awesome. Also if Ali comes back, I believe she is the only one that could bring Johnny full circle if they were to fall in love again say Ali comes back because she got divorced. That’s what I really want to see in season 3 maybe leading off to season 4 if they go to season 4.

Maybe we'll have a two part story. One with Johnny reuniting with Ali, and helping recover Miguel. While John krease uses the help of mike and Terry silver to make Cobra Kai at top. On the other side. Daniel goes to Okinawa where he'll meet kumiko and somehow he and chozen will forget the past and try to find peace together by helping Daniel learn more about Okinawan karate.

If Alli and Yukia both come back in season 3 Daniel-Son's marriage, definitely, will be in trouble.😅

Three way tag team match? Daniel and Chozen trying to find balance as Daniel returns for a funeral. (Sato?) Johnny and Mike trying to get back at CK for how they got messed over. Kreese and Silver reunited. The enemy of my enemy is my.....?

Running with the Daniel/Chozin reconciliation theory: They both return to teach Miyagi-Do as the next gen friendship of Miyagi and Sato. Together, they teach Robbie and Miguel about reconciliation, which, for Robbie, means also reconciling with Johnny.

Tomi Village no longer exists; it was incorporated into a neighboring town, I believe. But that could be a great plot point: Daniel having to deal with the loss of Mr. Miyagi’s hometown. Like Chozen said: “Some things have changed while you gone.”

Would love to see Mike Barns go up against Chozen

I think Robbie flees to Okinawa, and Daniel will go back to retrieve him. Johnny will probably join them later in the season, where they will decide to team up against Kreese, perhaps training with Chozen on some sort of hybrid Karate style. I don't think Silver or Barnes will come into play until near the end of Season 3, as they won't want to reveal all of their legacy characters at once (especially if Ally is coming back this season as well).

They want to turn Daniel enemies to be his allies just like DBZ where more than half of Goku's enemies did ended up becoming his allies.

I see a couple of possibilities. There was the moment at the very end of the last episode of season 2 where Daniel goes into Robbie's room and finds the book on Okinawa, so it may very well be teasing that they may travel together to Okinawa. I don't know that it would make sense for Johnny to travel there, as some have suggested, because he has a clearly defined enemy in Kreese at this point and I think there needs to be some relationship building between him and Miguel at this point to keep that chemistry alive. After all, one of the best things in this show is the relationship between Johnny and Miguel. Though Ali will probably return I think Johnny should remain enamored by Carmen as I think that is the woman he needs to help him find balance. We've already seen that she is capable of leading him gently to open up. Ali will most like be the character that helps him see that he needs to let the past be the past, which I think is the right path for Johnny. I don't think that Okinawa will completely dominate Daniel's or Miyagi Do's arc in the upcoming season, though I think it will be an important element. I think it will be the beginning of a bridge between Daniel and Johnny because it was also teased in the final episode by Robbie that Daniel have more in common than they do different. I fully expect Amanda to either leave or at least become disenchanted with Daniel which will motive the trip. Samantha has kind of played a bridge role in a few episodes, where she has brought characters together such as her mother and her grandmother, so I would be surprised if she plays this role between Daniel and Amanda. Chozen is kind of a wild card. Did he learn his lesson and become a more balanced man or did he double down on the path he was following becoming more like Sato? I could see either way working as on one hand Chozen being on the good path could help to re-balance Daniel and be his reminder as to what Miygi Do is all about, though he could still very much be an enemy and still have the same effect. Either way I really like Chozen as a character and I think the more "grey area" approach that Cobra Kai takes with the older characters will somehow play a part. Who is Chozen really? I think some time needs to be devoted to that for those of us invested in that character and it could work really well. Kumiko I don't know about. I would love to see her on screen again, but what role could she actually play? If she comes off as a long lost love interest I don't know that I'd be okay with that because that would make Kumiko kind of a homewrecker. I'm pretty invested in Amanda being Daniel's wife and, just like with Johnny, I think the ultimate lesson should be to let the past die and so far Cobrai Kai has suggested that path with the two differing philosophies of Cobra Kai. Somehow the children have to fit into this as well and I think there is going to be a similar arc to KK1 where Kreese is going to go too far and some students will fall away from Cobra Kai as a result. I would see Hawk and Tori doubling down on Kreese's philosophy while Aisha and some of the more neutral characters will leave at some point. I think there will be initial fanfare form Cobra Kai when Miguel wakes up, but Miguel will find issue with Kreese's methods and ultimately train under Johnny as he continues to heal. I full expect a showdown between Hawk and Miguel. Anyways those are my thoughts.

I have a feeling that it may tie into Daniel visiting the monks from The Next Karate Kid. Why else would the producer's reiterate at Comic-con that that film is part of canon.

Maybe he goes back to try and clear his head and try to find balance. And answers to how to handle what happened with his student and Johnny's student

Forget about Daniel and Kumiko. He loves his wife and family. Not gonna happen. Chozen coming into the picture I could definitely see. Perhaps he and Daniel has reconciled years ago. Probably thanks to Sato. Hopefully we'll get more details between now and next May.

Daniel gets a friend request on fb from a 30-something Japanese man. Its his son with Kumiko. His mother is gravely ill... and Daniel wants to do right for her and his new found son. He gets on a plane to back to Okinawa and goes back with Jonnny and the opening credits roll.......

I would love to see Johnny and Chozen meet

I’m thinking Johnny will somehow end up in Okinawa. It would make sense that he would want to get away for awhile. What if he takes a job that requires him to travel overseas? As fate would have it he runs into Daniel and series of misunderstandings ensue with the two realizing they need to join forces against a common enemy

Here's what I think: Daniel goes to Okinawa and reunites with kumiko and chozen. Chozen and Daniel eventually train together because there life has been up and down with Miyagi and Soto being gone for a while now. Last but not least I believe Johnny reunites with Ali and she helps recover Miguel meanwhile Mike Barnes and Terry silver return!!!

Miguel will be out for at least 3 episodes then wake up. This is where Samantha spends most of her time early on. Johnny will gather the Miyagi Do students minus, Sam and Robbie, under his wing. Daniel's wife will ask for time away and he will be drawn to Okinawa for a few episodes. He will take Robbie. Chosen has a son which allows Robbie his KK2 moment and to learn a lesson. Daniel has his epiphany so he and Robbie return home to save his marriage only to discover Terry Silver And Mike Barns have returned and Johnny has had to defend Miyagi Do alone. We get the ultimate team up for the rest of the season. Robbie wins the tournament. Miguel makes it back to walking. Even though he wins the tournament, Daniel's wife still asks for a divorce. Daniel and Johnny go out to celebrate their victory, both single and finally on the same team truly. In walks Alli, also recently divorced trying to find her step daughter.

Tamlyn Tomita is still smokin' hot, so yeah.... bring it on!

Daniel goes there and hooks up up with Kumiko. He's about to hit it off in the hut but then a typhoon sets in .... He says "damn it not again "

Daniel said in season 1, he had been to Okinawa several times. I am sure there is alot more to the story than just what was in Karate kid 2 and if he goes to Japan in season 3, we will get the entire back story. Daniel and Chozen are older and more mature and both learned the same style of martial arts. I'm sure they know each other well enough. I'm sure Chozen's gave his father respect and they both forgave each other in time. Family will always be family and hormones are running crazy at 18 years old it is not crazy to think Chozon was just a little renegade trying to figure out life and he is not as bad as he is portrayed in Karate kid 2.

You know one thing nobody ever notices about season one and season2. It's that Daniel and Miguel barely have screen time together. I'm pretty they will be together in season 3.

In Season 2 when Robbie picked up the drums, Daniel told him that he got that drum the FIRST time he was in Okinawa. So we know Daniel was in Okinawa more than once. He could also have a business there also. He could have been there many times.

There are so many ways they can do this. I just can't wait to see what's to come. I do believe that Daniel when arriving in Okinawa he cross paths with chosen they attend satos funeral together they talk over the troubles of what's going on in their lives and they find balance and all that stuff. Plus Daniel would run into his old flame. Krease and silver has a reunion and becomes a tag team for cobra kai. Johnny runs into ali. Daniel comes back maybe along with chosen and maybe johnny, Daniel and chosen teams up against krease and silver. Idk being a huge fan I'm just throwing out some thoughts.

Daniel returns to Okinawa, meets up with Kumiko and sees that A LOT has changed since they last saw each other as he is introduced to her kids and her husband, Chozen. ;)

Numerous people can return from Okinawa, not just Chozen and Kumiko. Actor B D Wong (Jurassic Park, World) had a talking part in KK2 . Also, Clarence Gilyard, who played Chuck Norris's partner in Texas Ranger also was in KK2 in the ice block scene. Chozen's entire crew could return as well, just like Johnnys did. And, of course, you have the whole military base scene where Chozen was teaching the American military essentially a more violent Miyagi Do karate. The writers can go into so many directions for story.

Thank you for finally acknowledging that Daniel Kamekona had passed. And I agree it would be cool to see Chozen become a good guy. We'll see.

I have a theory on why Daniel goes back to Okinawa. Remember mr miyagi healing powers and how in season 1 Daniel gave us that funny line when Robby got injured and Daniel clapped his hands and you think for one moment Daniel is going to cure robbys shoulder and Daniel says..we need a medic. What if Daniel goes back to learn the healing process so he can help Miguel recover more quickly. Seems far fetched I know lol

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but Sato and Chozen are also practitioners of Miyagi-Do Karate, as Mr. Miyagi explained to Daniel in The Karate Kid II that Miyagi's father taught Sato when they were children, at Miyagi's request.

What I'd be worried about is that Daniel just never learned enough from Miyagi, never approached his level of mastery, which would be necessary to fully pass on his teachings to other students. If it were at the point where Daniel could beat Miyagi in sparring (they kind of do some of it at the dojo in KK2, that kind I suppose since Miyagi didn't believe in fighting) he'd be more than prepared to deal with Kreese, Terry Silver, Johnny or all the other Miyagi had beat himself.

Part of me thinks he’ll encounter Chozen again but a more enlightened version? Maybe will somehow help project him forward in the plot

Satos teachings will probably be like miyagi version's of cobra kai more aggressive but still good defence

There is no hybrid, since Sato was also trained by Mr. Miyagi's dad.Chosen does use Miyagi style.

Man, i cannot wait for season 3. Glad thats it is comming to netflix, i think more ppls will be enjoying the show and i hope they have plan for at least 5 season. i would like to see almost everyone from the old movies. Would even be great if Hilary Swank would also get back her character never met daniel but i think the next karate kid still is in the franchise even if have no conexion with the rest but still would be great. i hope tery silver will comeback, ally from the first movie i want to see tham all lol.

We got the cobra Kai guys in episode 6 season 2, so I think anything with Barnes and silver is possible.

Kumiko went to Tokyo, assumed she did, because she got offered a ballet school scholarship. That is the last we heard of her.

I think the producer want some cameo role for Tamlyn and Yuji, so will find a reason for Daniel to go to Okinawa, (I guess is to attend Sato's funeral), these duo can't possibly have a major role. As it will be really far fetch to related them to Cobra Kai.

He will meet the guy who tried to kill him and he will actually be a changed man and in fact danny has reconciled with him years ago and both have talked to one another frequently.

I have a feeling seeing how season 2 went i think season 3 will be even more surreal in terms of how it ends, i really hope in season 3 something happens which we never expect e.g maybe Johnny goes to Okinawa with Daniel & ends up fighting Chozen & both lose miserably as Chozen had been training non stop since being defeated by Daniel those 30 years ago as i really cant see him being a good guy in season 3

I think we should learn that Chozen has become a ruthless businessman. He comes to America, and establishes a karate school that dominates both Miyagi-do and Cobra Kai. Daniel and Johnny then find themselves having to put aside their differences to stop Chozen...
