I had a bad time with depression about 17 years ago. 15 years ago I climbed out of that pit but I left some things behind and some things were taken from me. I lost my love for music quit listening to it for 15 years. A friend sent me a music video of a metal singer doing amazing Grace. I didn't open it for 4 days. In one day opened it. From the first time I heard his voice I was mesmerized. By the time he got to bright shining as the sun, my heart was full, tears were flowing, I felt my soul dropped to its knees, I had to come back to God moment and my love for music was reborn. The Lord worked through that man's voice to give me back my love for music. I've already thanked God wish I could thank Mr Vasc. Ever since, I've been drinking it all in like a tall glass of ice water on a hot Summer's day. Loving the old s*** and discovering the new s***. Love your show.❤❤❤

I grew up in a Western Evangelicalism that taught us that rock music was "the devil's music." Yeah, it sometimes is, if we're being honest. But, then you hear talented Brazillian metal rocker vocalist Dan Vasc (a faithful Christian) do a powerful, gorgeous, earnest, heartfelt treatment of "Amazing Grace," and you realize that Jesus is everywhere, and you understand what Paul meant when he wrote in Philppians 1:18 "But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice."

I have seriously watched this three times a day for three days in a row, along with other reactions. Without fail, those reacting have been visibly moved by the performance. I wish I could have captured my initial reaction.
