loving my cube...only issues ive had with mine is ...had to have new motor fitted as it started making a lot of noise, bosch just sent out a new one and just recently it stared making a horrible noise grinding noise from the rear which have now figured out the free hub is knackered and really loose...the warranty is being sorted as we speak but I managed to get a new rear freehub assembly and upgraded the rims to halo vapours(they look sweet) ...now just waiting for them to be built

You wouldn’t happen to know the part number of that rear hanger ? I’ve just purchased the same bike and agree it’s worth keeping a spare.

how you managed to break such a tank is beyond me, my 120 is mint, how much life does the battery have , any idea? how many years does a power tube last ?

I'm up to 500km on mine now. Other than kiox syncing being a bit flaky and the paintwork being a bit susceptible to stone chips, it's so far so good.

Mine had rear hanger problems, they kept coming loose as well. The motor kicking in loosened it off as well. Had problems with the dropper slowing down as well. Tried adjusting on the cable tension, struggled to find a sweet spot often.

New hangers aren't always perfectly straight either. It might be worth investing in an alignment tool, they aren't very expensive and will save you paying for the bike shop having to fix it next time.

Helpful stuff dude. Do you think you hit the derailleur? My second ride: my Kiox reset itself, gears were spontaneously out of alignment, and both tyres got punctures. Not serious things, but frustrating second trip which I cut short. Now going tubeless, as apparently it's better. Coming from the DRZ world, I'm used to a work horse you can throw off a cliff and keeps working. These MTB things are made of moist tissue paper by comparison. :-D Re: dropper post - have you been learning about lubricating the shocks and dropper post? Apparently they're frequent maintenance items, so need cleaning/lubing regularly. .

I'm still waiting. I think you can get some nice carbon or alloy aftermarket bashplate replacements.

after 2000 miles on mine, the motor packed in, got 3 different error codes on the screen error 510, 550 and 500 had to warranty claim. :( other than that I love mine a lot and my magura mt30 brake lever started leaking oil so had to get that replaced but that is about it.

Put a sheet of earthquake matt foam (Shockproof Earthquake Pad) between the motor bottom and the flimsy plastic guard. Its a few quid and will give you peace of mind when hitting hard trails

I've got a cube acid hybrid pro 29er... The chain seems to be not sitting in the cogs, but on the other side, the brake disc is rubbing on the casing where the pads are... Could this be the hanger as you call it, causing this? Or could the wheel be bent?

Dont throw that old guard? drill some small holes either side of the splits and cable tie the bugger back together 👍bit like frankenstein stitches buy hey if yer gonna be BASHing around 😜

i have 140 sl. ive gone through 1 hangar and have 2 spare. i fell sideways and the weight of the bike bends the hangsr. i bent it back on the trsil and worked ok for a month until i got spares. also, embn say you can get alloy bash plates now so ill be looking at getting one of them. great video though
