Great as always ! I own a XPR too, and it’s a fabulous unit. If you want to take advantage of the Rockman units, you have to use solid state stereo poweramps or plug directly in a hifi system.

Damn, a shoutout! I think Michael Nielsen also brought the idea up, maybe in the Tone-Talk? And he's been doing the devil's work, demoing boxes from you for a while and knowing you so he has been aware of what all you receive and have. The things in people's memories and dreams, that they can't find or afford. What a box! Only heard of Rockman in the past, until last week saw one of these in a google image of a rack and on some japanese guy's youtube channel! Cool chorus, it's full but not too wet or annoying. Talking about rare things, ever tried to find one of those Bogner Giant prototypes with colored knobs that Nielsen showed on Hafler video? Did more people than Megadeth even have them?

The Rockman has a surprisingly great chorus. You can nail a lot of 80s tones with it. One of my old bandmates has a Bogner Giant preamp (with the multi-colored strat knobs). I may have to hit him up and try to borrow it. Would make a great "all the Bogner Preamps" video!

I had a Rockman XP100 (the XPR with a power amp and some speakers) in Grade 8 (~1993). I regret selling it for $600... in 1998...

So I have a Digitech RP1. I was able to get those Boston and Hysteria tones with the unit. I have found that a lot of the old Digitech stuff like the RP1, GFX-1, GSP 21, GSP 21 Pro and GSP 21 Legend and Legend II you are able to recreate those tones.

Def Leppard used the digitech gsp21 legend on their 1992-1993 tours!

@@Me37368 I love the old effect processors form the late 80's and early 90's from Digitech, ADA, Peavey, Marshall, Yamaha and Rocktron! Those were the good ole days! It was awesome being alive then!
